Mivas: I look forward to Inquisition. Yeah, it works with boring Tolkien fetish but I can still sense Bioware written all over it. I would be tempted to buy earlier but Origin/Steam requirement keep me safely away. No way I'm spending $20+ on something I don't have soft spot for and won't own. It will be hard to avoid spoilers, though :(. People tend to write them nonchalantly in non-related threads a lot these days.
I don't feel strongly about the series as I used to about ME, so I don't have to worry I'll be disappointed.
Tolkien fetish or not, if I like the story and the universe and the lore I'm in. I'll probably buy it, but it's still a long time till then and I'll probably need a new machine as well.
@scampy and some of the others: Of course it's your right to wait and see. Just don't make it worse than what we see. Being sceptical is okay though :)
And I'll just get both games ;) Fortunately, I haven't got enough of both types of fantasies yet :D
Azrael360: This reminds me, I have to play Dragon Age II someday soon... (:P)
You and me both, buddy! I will wait for the DLC getting a discount though, so I could be waiting for quite some time...
DaCostaBR: I actually liked DA2. That being said, I can't bring myself to be very excited for this. I just stopped caring about Bioware in general. Maybe it's because I started playing on PC since then and got to play more of their games, thus getting sick of their tropes.
As a whole, I think it might be the simplistic tone of Bioware's games that started to aggravate me.
Have only played ME and DA:O, the latter only once last year. The former....many,many times. This from a period where ME was the only game I played, meaning I can't afford to do so many playthroughs now that I found GOG :D
So I haven't gotten sick of their tropes yet, but I'm planning to play the BG series. In the near future. Also have KotOR. Sometime xD
