Most of those seemed pretty normal, until I read...

Yeah, true. My copy of RAGE came on 3 DVD's, although it was the ult edition.

Though, I guess the next gen of consoles is almost out, blowing away any idea I had of keeping my already ancient gaming rig.
I need a damn new computer....

Max Payne 3 was 35gb
Sweet, my compy could play that in its sleep mode.
Low system requirements for a new release.
Looks pretty moderate. Waiting for a good price.
what is the 10 GB difference for? Seems very odd to me....

Edit: ok, seems that the HD textures will be an optional install?

Usual stuff here, nothing peculiar, good ol' UE3. Not so sure about 'good' part. I somehow dislike visual appearance of all games utilizing this engine.

Aatami: Max Payne 3 was 35gb
And more than a half of the game is a movie .

But Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was. And Max Payne 3 even uses up 35+ GB.
And those just are perfectly linear action games.

Expect 30GB and beyond to quickly become the standard when the new consoles arrive; we've already seen many recent releases go well beyond this generation's previously established standard of around 8-10GB, and even the laziest console ports will include the high-detail textures used on the console versions (if not better).
I have 3dfx Voodoo 2 is that good.
