I can't imagine they're using anything else than the Unreal 3 engine. They've probably added a few bells and whistles to it over the years, but the base technology, and hence gameplay experience in terms of graphics, will be the same as the original Bioshock.

Supposedly the 5 activation limit advertised on the steam page was incorrectly put on.
http://www.bluesnews.com/s/106549/bioshock-2-no-activation-limits
Also the steam page has changed to reflect this.
Anybody have a group going yet? :P

Dear God - if Steam put it up by accident, they sure have shot themselves in the foot. Loads of people have canceled their pre-orders and I'm sure many people will not hear it was actually untrue *hides*.

Bluesnews didn't check the bottom of the page. It says unlimited activations on up to 5 PCs (concurrent, I presume).

As long as it still uses an activation server during installation, I'll steer clear. The amount of activations don't matter to me - as a retro gamer I just dislike the risk of ending up with a ton of games in 10 years time that can't be played anymore.

They've promised they'd find a way to make it playable (i.e. a patch) should the servers go down, as they did with the first game.
