stonebro: Let me speak this out loud, because I want to get it straight in my head.
Even if I buy Bioshock 2 on Steam, it will force me to register and comply with GFWL activation as well?

Yes.

Yes, even the Steam version uses GFWL. And that should only be a problem if you live in one of the countries not supported and don't like the idea of making an account with its location set to a supported region.
Fine, then Bioshock 2 is on the nay-list. I'm not paying 40-50 dollars to be annoyed.
Just got it last night. Great so far. But the multiplayer is a pointless feature.

TheCheese33: If you're unsure about a game, don't buy the Fucking Expensive Collector's Edition (FECE), as you may be disappointed. I bought the FECE Hellgate: London, and I can tell you where that box is right now. In the trash.
EDIT: Just noticed what the acronym really is, but it fits. Collector's Editions are usually expensive and full of useless junk. I got the World In Conflict box because it had a piece of the Berlin Wall, and I hardly ever look at that piece of history.

chautemoc: The one for Bioshock seems great to me.

The vinyl soundtrack is pretty cool, but I wouldn't pay what $100 for it?
^Why? What about the MP?

I agree. The single player is still great, but the multiplayer is some of the worst I have ever played.
I didn't mind the multiplayer, granted I only played 2 short FFA matches but they were pretty fun
Well, there is still hope for a crack to remove the DRM,right?

I'm not surprised. Googling "Bioshock 2 cracked" shows that it has already been so.

Then I am convinced to get the game on the cheapest price and try my luck. At least for once, afterwards I can always sell it.
Well, looks like they messed up the Widescreen support again.

Yeah, I noticed that. How do they do that AGAIN? Makes no sense, mang.
And what's up with Kotaku's writers? That article just sucks and has grade school written all over it.
So far, I hate the Big Sisters. They are annoying as hell.

Tantrix: when you say there is a problem, we listen, and use your suggestions to make things better.

Oh, unless its doing widescreen properly
