SirPrimalform: Is there supposed to be a news article at the start of this thread? Because I'm not seeing it...
Me either. It also shows it on the forum view as having 8 replies, even though it's already 3 pages long...
"transition from Good Old Games to simply GOG.com"

Disappointing
Nice redesign. Perfect!
Would Faerie Solitaire be desired on GOG or no? We've been DRM free forever, and we are completely independent.
I'm frightened.
Would be nice if the NEWS column was on the left side (aesthetically better), also site it should memorize which of the 3 tabs were left open out of 'Top Sellers', 'New&Coming' and 'Recommended' so I don't have to click on the desired one each time I visit the site.

As someone mentioned before.. will GOG still publish Good Old Games ? Or it will be only around New or Indie games ? (old i means before 199x - 2008)..

What bout to make one week of old games and one week of newly games ?

I think they've broken the forum. :P
Looks neat.
I hope you guys make the separation between new gogs and "true" gogs a bit more apparent. I have nothing against the addition of new games, quite the opposite really, but I feel there ought to be a clear distinction between newer games with more modern gaming concepts and hardware requirements and old games. I can't really say exactly where the cut-off between the two would be, though. Maybe five years in the past? Ten? Hrm.

Also not so sure about the picture-only preview in the headline column. I liked being able to skim through the first few sentences.

Preordered Grimrock. Keep on being awesome, gog. :)
With the new "My Games" listing, I can't see the ratings I've given to my games or rate a game from the list display page, I have to go to each game to see what rating (if any) I've given a game. I really liked that feature, and I hope it comes back.

Edit: Also, because of the new interface I can no longer middle click on a game to open it's page in a new tab, I have to click on it and then middle click on the title that the sidebar shows. It's a tiny bother bit it is a bother. I like to review my collection a lot when deciding what to buy next.

Blue text has confirmed in several threads that their main focus will be bringing classics back to live.

But I'm also a bit disappointed that GOG didn't release an oldie today. But Grimrock is awesome and unexpected, so I'm ok... for now....

Why is it that whenever a new GOG comes online, it seems to be rather broken? :)

Fuzzyfireball: Yeah, ignore the awesome site update.

Mjauv: ...I seriously didn't see any big site update. The site pretty much lookes the same. Or did I miss something?
There are differnces it's just hard to see them right away, Look on the bottom right of the page and click "request games and site features". You can see a better game wishlist, and you can see a wishlist for "requested site features". The requested site features shows some things that are completed, like the abilty to hide games, the abilty to to resend gifts and there are things that are listed as "in progress"

Faerie Solitaire will rule the world!
GOGmixes are still here but I can't find the "my mixes" button anymore.
