It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

jepsen1977: Sadly GoG didn't get the feature I really wanted which is a English spelling program when writing forum posts - for us non-English speakers it is very annoying that we can't spell check our post since it does change other peoples perception of the post if there are a ton of spelling errors and it gives US/UK an unfair advantage here. So please GoG look into getting one on your site.
Oh, come on, all modern browsers have their own spell checkers now, just install an English one. No need for it to be built into the GOG site.
I'm good with GOG adding in newer titles as long as they stick to their guns on DRM and the like; currently I have to split my money between here and GamersGate, but I'd rather give a bigger piece of it to GOG. How much I can do that will depend on who all they can get on board (I suspect the no-DRM thing is going to be a sticky point with some).
Since it seems to be common knowledge that web browsers have a spell-checking function could someone then tell me where this feature is located because I can't find it in IE9 (Danish version) or could you suggest a good add-on for it?

ZwaanME: I'm glad GOG.com decided to give Indie developers a platform for their games. Yes, at a price level of €15 they are more expensive than the classics already on offer. But there is a big difference: these developers need the money in order to 'survive' (pay the rent) and in order to create their next game. The other games on GOG.com are mostly 'abondonware' and have already earned their developers the hard needed cash on the original release.
I know I cannot speak for the other GOG.com members but I'm glad to see indie games on GOG.com and I will gladly pay extra knowing that I'm not just buying the game but also investing in a new generation of game developers.
Just wondering, any chance of seeing Quantum Conundrum on GOG.com this summer?
^This. I hope more indie developers come on-board. I'm so glad that i dont have to buy this off of Steam, kudos GOG!

Oh, IE9... that explains it. Look here:

Great news! And i'm really happy about indie games!
Lets just hope they can keep up, as is I feel GOG can hardly keep up with just the classics let alone adding modern into the mix (Looking at you 11th Hour for example).

Id be happy to be proved wrong though! I Like gog as much as the next person!
I like it. More games == gooder than good.

I do have a complaint though. I liked the old homepage layout that was more "news/announcement" focused and less game listings.

kimvidard: If you saw the game cheaper somewhere else, I will go on a limb here and say it was on sale, or discounted... So not exactly comparable.

Leroux: Digital version (English) on GamersGate, about $13.50 (unless it's cheaper for US customers)

Retail on Amazon.de, about $13.50, (original voiceovers)

US Retail on Amazon.com, was $9.99, now $6.25.

So, yeah, except for the US retail the difference is not that significant and all of these probably have some kind of DRM or copy protection on them (and I'd stay clear of anything that GamersGate put SecuRom on). And the GOG version includes the soundtrack,

I think it depends on your perspective. If you love adventure games, haven't played this one yet and are not able to speak German, it's probably a good offer (also considering the Steam version costs nearly twice as much for Europeans). On the other hand, the absence of the German version really devalues the offer for the German fanbase familiar with the original, and from what I hear, only Germans are interested in playing German adventure games. ;)
Yeah, I think I can agree with that :)
And I use GamersGate quite a bit so I am not all surprised that they would have a good price. For amazon, well, shipping will put the price over GOG's offer so in the end we are back to what service we prefer, and to get rid of DRM, and get the extra goodies, I'll take the GOG offer.

BTW, I am french, so I must be the odd one out for liking the whispering word :)
I just feel that 15$ is fine going forward, I'll keep an eye on what the add, hopefully, we get some slipper hits added. They certainly started by getting Cryostasis in the catalog.

I'd definitely recommend getting it from GOG, if you're going for the digital edition in English. I haven't tried the GamersGate version myself but what bansama wrote in this thread about the SecuRom version from GG sounds kind of familiar to me, since I've had trouble with two other games from GG in the past where the SecuRom was added exclusively for GamersGate.
I love the new look. Looking forward to new and improved gaming experience.
While I do like the new look of GOG, I am growing extremely tired of waiting for a decent good old FPS to be released. The last FPS I can think of was XIII, Chaser and Serious Sam TSE.

Considering that you now have EA and Activision I can't see why we haven't seen the release of such titles like the Medal of Honor series, Soldier of Fortune series or Freedom Fighters or other shooter games, regardless if the are a FPS or TPS.

I am sorry if I sound ungrateful but I am getting fed up seeing every release being some RPG or an adventure game.
Liking the new collection manager - and although I feel a bit odd buying new titles off Good OLD Games, all it takes for a GG to be a GOG is a couple years :P
Gee Oh Gee <3
