Trilarion: Where is the news page displaying the text of the news? Do I have to go to the community forum each time I want to know if there are some news?
You can see the news text from the actual news page link from the frontpage, but for some reason it's not displaying on the forums (i.e. first post is actually first reply). I'm sure it's a bug, and hopefully they'll fix it soon. The post count is all messed up, too, and when you post a reply it jumps to the wrong page.
I think they reintroduced the bug that you cannot edit edits of your posts because always the original post is shown. I thought that was fixed some weeks before.

Also the top navigation bar is so much different from the remaining color scheme (I have dark background) that I frequently mistake it for not being part of the site...
Interface looks cool. However I don't like game pricing (I saw something for more than 9.99). New games are here but I will stick to the old ones and eventualy consider something newer in next fea years (when it become old:D )

edith: Ah, it's these images on the right side....
What wouldn't be bad is if the first paragraph appeared when you mouse-over the image.

But on the whole, given the hype that GOG was aiming to stir up with this, I must say I'm rather disappointed. The new games and new price points are all well and good, but at the end of the day the changes effectively amount to pictures instead of text news, a new colour for the navigation bar and a grossly oversized wishlist window in the community section.

I was expecting better.

SirPrimalform: It was descending for me too (I assumed it was deliberate) but mine was next to the contact list at least.
The double post time limit is probably the same, but it deserves testing. If it's gone up to 20 minutes I'll kill someone.
Oh, so ascending list is new feature, good. I had PMs broken for months so I was really used to having it that way.

Off to test it. ;-)

Als, when I post it soemtimes move me to another than last page (page 2 or 3) here. Do others have same problem? It used to be that it moved you to your post, right?

I have to admit, I would've thought they'd introduce new pricepoints with 7.49 first... just to ease us in to it, but apparently not :)
I don't want to be the grumpy old man, but do you still plan on releasing old games as well? Because, yes, new games are shiny and all, but I like my games as I like my cheese: Old.

Except for the indiegames - this is a great addition indeed.

bevinator: It looks alright from the news page, but if I click on the forum link rather than the frontpage link, I can't see the post, only the replies.
I see... I've got the same, now I see that...
I have to say, I've noticed massively reduced load times. Good work guys. Also, I think it should still be "good old games", just now in the sense of being reliable.

Of course that is a valid strategy. Just wait. It will probably become cheaper in the end. I think that without the new prices it probably wouldn't be here at all. So no real loss for you.
I'm proud of you.
The one complaint I have with this is that they've gotten rid of manually sorting of your collection when you're in any sorting mode other than manual. I sort my games alphabetically by sequel, but the alphabetical sorting sorts alphabetically by letter.

Edit: Also, am I the only one who sees a big, empty space between "My Account" and the search bar on the top bar? It looks like there's supposed to be something there, but there isn't.

Somehow for me it's still the same speed. I guess they are still loading everything, are they?
Good to see GOG branching out. Nice surprise to see Trine here. Legend of Grimrock is tempting...

One thing that would rock would be if you were to talk to the various Indie Bundle publishers that have released the games you are now picking up already, and work out a deal to get GOG-codes for them, too. Trine, Darwinia, Spacechem, Machinarium have seen releases in Indie-Bundles already; having those bundle-keys provide gog.com keys would promote both gog.com and them (you get more eyeballs and exposure, they get more delivery mechanisms and longevity, and us customers get an expanded gog.com shelf of games (which we already paid for -- and costs to you should be negligible compared to the exposure :)

You may even want to talk to, say, Humble/Wolfire and see whether you can get all the games of the next bundles on gog.com as well :)
