Crosmando: Lol, are Bethsoft pretending Battlespire and Redguard never happened?
Or they simply decided to do an anthology of the games from the main series, not specifically trying to remove the spin-offs from history.

EDIT: That's what the blog says at least:
[...] we’ll be releasing The Elder Scrolls Anthology on PC. This premium box set (shown above) includes all five main games from the series [...]
"main games" kind of implies they acknowledge the others too, so I can't really see how they're "pretending Battlespire and Redguard never happened".

Crosmando:
I dunno, the only part that I really didn't like about the game was the golem boss, I thought it was absolutely awful. Other than that I didn't think it was as outrageously bad as it was made out to be.

Khadgar42: Is Steam required?
For Skyrim, yes. Confirmed on Bethesda Blog :\
Extremely overpriced considering the fact Daggerfall and Morrowind are the only decent installments in the series...
*sigh* Where do i begin?

- The maps look like they are all this bland brown & black used for the oblivion map and printed on paper. I really liked the vibrant map of Morrowind (which as irnonically the most colourful part of the game).
- No manuals.
- No other extra like soundtrack or artbooks or anything.
- Not even real holder for the discs, it is guaranteed three will always drop out of the case when you want to remove one.
- Is Morrowind seriously shipped on four discs? Are they actually using CDs?
- Skyrim will probably require Steam.
- The price, this box doesn't contain any special collector's items or anything to warrant this price tag. it's just some leftover discs shoved into a box.

At first I ws kind of intrigued, but this package doesn't really offer anythign you couldn't assemble yourself, just get a cheap GotY edition of Morrowind and Oblivion for a few bucks. Arena and Daggerfall are free anyway and since Skyrim needs Steam you might as well get it on a 75% off Steam sale. If they actually put some effort into the contents I would be intrigued, but this? No thanks.

Azrael360: Rather expensive, I would say. I think the first 2 games are free now; Morrowind and Oblivion had been so cheap in many sales by now, that buying everything, including Skyrim Legendary Edition, would be cheaper during the next Steam Sale, or any other sale... (:P)
Well, but you wouldn´t get this fantastic-looking box ;)

But it´s really shit that Bethesda didn´t printed the maps on cloth and are just doing another "paper-shit" edition...

I note that Bethesda have actually RAISED the standard price of Oblivion on Steam now to €25 and that Morrowind on Steam is still €20 as standard.

But hurrah for digital distribution and its competitive pricing eh?
No Redguard & Battlespire? :O
Meh :P
This would be great... If I didn't already have all of those games, and whats with having 9 discs? Haven't they heard of Bluray? I'm already throwing discs out by the dozen as I convert to digital and clean my computer room of 20 years of game hoarding, I don't need another stack.

The only reason I'd have to buy them would be the maps, but I already have half of them and don't like the way they get folded up, yay look at the massive creases ruining the cool map on my wall...

No they haven't.

Oblivion Goty 20€.

Oblivion Goty Deluxe 25€.

Has been this since the dawn of time. Or since the games have been added, whatever happened earlier. (Well, they entered Steam with 50% off, so they started at 12,50€.

That´s really shit, that´s no complete Anthology than!

DaCostaBR: I saw that earlier today. I could never bring myself to buy something like this knowing that the anthology will be obsolete sooner or later when they release another one, so might as well buy them individually.
Well you don't know that. TESO is on its way and remember what happened to Warcraft series when they made it into MMO...
It's a fancy looking box but the price is rather high for games which essentially can be purchased in seperate goty editions for much cheaper in the long run

This box also doesn't contain any "Must haves" if they even included simple things like the Soundtrack or some special "Numbered limited to XYZ numbers" then I might have gotten this but as of now, I think I'll pass
PRE-ORDER NOW, WITNESS THE DECLINE OF TES AND CRPGS IN GENERAL IN THIS ANTHOLOGY COLLECTION

PLAY THE CLASSICS ARENA, DAGGERFALL AND MORROWIND, AND THEN EXPERIENCE THAT CRUSHING DISAPPOINTMENT AND RAGE ALL OVER AGAIN WHEN YOU (RE)PLAY THE TURD THAT IS OBLIVION.
I do like the box, but I don't like the Bethesda pricing.
I guess the price is this high because they just released the Skyrim GOTY for the full price.
I might get it if it's marked down to $20 though.
I have also started a lot of sentences with I in this post.
