I play gog games on my eeepc and the cramped little buttons and touchpad suck for games that need a mouse. Or even just in general. So I was wondering what some of the best games here are for playing on a gamepad (specifically a saitek p2500), since that's my next best option? Duke Nukem MP is awesome so far.

Earthworm Jim should play well with a gamepad, some people were having issues getting their gamepads to run with it though.
You can use Xpadder to add proper controller support in games that have little or none. Xpadder supports any controller that Windows itself can detect.
yeah, DNMP is awesome with a pad!
I also recommend Geometry Wars, and Lost Planet is also not bad. Portal also works well. You'll want a joystiq with a throttle for any freespace titles. also, bulletcandy is good too. :D

I just used a wired Xbox 360 controller with no problem. I didn't to download any extra programs or anything. It automatically installed some drivers when I plugged it in and then I could play. It's a 3rd party Pelican controller, even.
Most point and click games work fine with just a laptop's touch pad. You hardly every need any quick movements (at least in the few I've played so far). It's just not as comfortable as using a mouse. But that's the case with everything on a computer, in my opinion.

mine's a joytech..
The Oddworld games should be very nice with a pad
Broken Sword 3 would be ideal as would In Cold Blood
