Revolution announces BASS: Remastered
Sadly only for iPhone at the moment, but one can only hope it'll make its way PC bound eventually.
Awesome!
Brutal, another one I'll buy if & when it comes to the xbox marketplace (or maybe if I get a PSP Go)
"You know, I think a massive part of the piracy problem is due to a broken-down relationship between game makers and consumers. There's no respect between the two parties anymore."
THANK YOU! Glad some developers are noticing. A good part of that respect is the wide availability of products...
Oh yes and the name of the new studio has already got me thinking of an ad "Is that a Revolution in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?"

Not sure I'll call iPhone and assorted handhelds "wide availability". I hate it when PC classics are remade for everything but the PC.

No no, that wasn't praising it, that was a big HINT HINT in the hopes it at least comes to PC & 360

i hope it comes to the g1
I must say, I'm happy at the small developing trend to remake old games, especially adventure games for modern machines. PC please! I'll pay for a fully remastered version. Only $2-3, are iphone users that fussy on price?.

I've never really liked all these "remastered" re-releases, theres nothing like the original.

I read a quote from a developer (john carmack I think) recently saying they are. The gist was saying that they have to find a sweet spot for the impulse buy market.
Frankly I'm very happy with the 360 price for Monkey Island SE and would pay the same for BASS:R and BS:DC ideally on the 360 as well but PC as a close second (almost entirely because I KNOW I'd be able to run the 360 one whereas my lappy can be a bit picky)

You say that as if the game were exclusive to PCs when first released. Just in case you didn't know, it wasn't.
I'll become interested when they announce Broken Sword.

It's already on the G1. It's called "ScummVM".
That said: It's already on the iPhone too. Which is why BASS: Remastered has some extra goodies.
How terribly original.

I believe I originally had it on Amiga.
I originally had BS 1 & 2 on playstation
Wait, Dave Gibbons is creating new art for the game?
