Dzien Dobry ,

Or at least i think it's written that way.

Only a small question , why is a belgium member automatically linked to the french language.
Every time i see a facebook link or membership next to a game it shows up as french.
Being flemish we speak mostly "Dutch" (alongside german , french , english and some spanish)

So the only thing i was wondering is of its possible to link it to a my native language.

Pozdrawiam

hmmz : maybe a bit of polish 2 :)

With Flemish being such a small language (based on number of native speakers), I doubt you'll see GOG implement any kind of support for it.

Belgian members probably have the French language setup by default, simply because GOG doesn't have a Flemish option. And I doubt that the mostly Polish GOG-crew are aware of how sensitive an issue language is in Belgium - if they were, they'd probably have defaulted you all to English as a more neutral option.

That's what you get with a small company like GOG.
Isn't this a problem with the Facebook API, rather than GOG?

Well it's not that big an issue.
The dutch language is spoken by more people then you think

The media lets it seem we are at war with our french speaking friends.
Well , we aren't :).Politicians may just love to fight eachother over here (sometimes literally)
anyway , I for one am glad that GOG is a small compagny. They take good care of us.
I just hope they don't scare me again like they did :)
The way I see it after having lived in Brussels for three years, is that the Flemmish are Dutch people trying to act "French", while the Walloons are Frenchmen trying to act "Dutch".

I appologise if you took that as an insult.

Out of curiosity, do you know what Accept-Language header your web browser sends when you visit the site? If your browser is telling the site that it prefers French over any other language that the site supports then that might answer your question.
WTF???

i just wanted to buy two worlds and this shows up on the facebook button.
"Vind ik leuk : 9 personen vinden dit leuk."
It's dutch *-*
And i haven't changed a thing. Stranges powers are at work.

@ miaghstir

I hardly take offense (except when someone kicks me in the **s)
Brussels is french. That's what the split up is all about.
Anyway it's a huge thing to explain and i totally lost interest in it.
One thing i've learned from all of this is that i consider everyone as a potential friend unless they consider me otherwise.

Anyway +1 for your reply
Hello,
my account settings is "Belgium", yet gog.com still shows in English.

I do not see any option to choose language or country on the site.

Can someone help me on this one ?

Thanks,

damn man you bumped a really old thread :p I don't think the gog main site has any other languages than English. Also welcome.
Indeed I just see it is so old :)

Actually I made a search on "french" and this one was one of the firsts in the list.

Yeah, the search functions have no concept of chronology, they're kind of broken
Still, if you even think GOG is a bit rickety go use Desura for a bit - you'll think it's AWESOME after that! *shudder*
No, the forums are fine, pretty fast, simple interface. That's fine.

What about the original question ?

Is there a version of gog.com in french ?
And another one came to my mind: is there support in french ?

I can speak english but french is my mother tong so would be better for me.

No, and no. Many games have French as an option though.
