Sometimes it's coffee, sometimes it's water and sometimes it's beer.
I'm a big fan of Young's Double Chocolate Stout, but that's damn near impossible to find most of the time. Pretty much anything brewed up by Innis & Gunn or Samuel Smith Brewery is golden. I'm not normally a huge fan of fruit beers, but Cannery Brewing Blackberry Porter is pretty damn good. Red Racer pale ale is also really good, but also really hard to get a lot of the time. And there are a lot of other small to mid sized breweries whose stuff I like.

Well, as a coffee-aholic who lugs his own french press and beans to work, I'm going to have to agree with you on this one...

I like to drink a corona now and again, and mostly i listen to music while i drink it, but sometimes i watch a movie.
one day perhaps, i'll play might and magic or maybe fallout or something like that. and drink a beer.
all i really drink is corona extra, but i enjoy most beers.
one time, i walked into a pool hall, and said "i'm going to try something new today" so i said what do you guys have? and they listed all their beers. AH! i said, I'll try an ODOULS!(might be getting the name wrong here),
after a couple sips, i realize, this isn't your average beer, and its then that my brother tells me "dude, thats non-alchohaulic beer!" I said DOPE!
true story.

Diabetic, so.... sigh....
However, when I am able to then I do enjoy a drop of Guinness or a glass of some nice red wine.

I often play TBS games, and beer goes great with those. I tend to prefer Belgian ales, with Grimbergen being my usual go-to. I also like some of the seasonal beers produced by Sierra Nevada (their Ruthless Rye winter ale is quite tasty).

I enjoy fruity bitch drinks while playing. Oh. And "rumtastic" smoothies.
I will only drink beer if I am at a BBQ or I am at a dive bar playing shuffleboard.

I generally don't drink beer when I play games because the beer gets forgotten and then it's warm or flat or anything else disgusting. I like beers when I'm researching a game, or reading up on it or just surfing the internet.
As far as favorites, I'm in Portland, Oregon. We have more coffee houses than breweries, I think, but the count would be pretty damn close. any of my local breweries usually has one or two varieties I really like, but as far as nationally available, I think Blue Moon is my first choice, followed by Coors (not that light crap either), Sam Adams, Elephant (though it's getting hard to find), Negra Modelo, and a good mead.
