The quest to help discover the Ubisoft treasures as we’ve relaunched our catalogue has been going for two weeks now and the armies of GOG Heroes grow with every day. It's time for another quest and another shoot at great loot. This time you need to prove your worth!

As a fighter on the battlefield you have to show how brave you are even when the enemies are numerous and they are better equipped. To show your comrades there's nothing to fear you have to use the best taunt you can come up with. That's why your quest is to record a short video showing your best GOG battle cry. Keep it clean, though, ‘cause GOG doesn’t fight dirty.

A good wizard is crafty and fights with more than just brawn. His biggest strength is the ability to mess with his enemies' brains. As a wizard, record a short video on which you'll show us your best magic trick - be it a trick with cards, coins, rabbits or disappearing ladies - mess with our heads and you'll complete your quest.

Once you’ve made your battle cry or your magic trick, upload it to YouTube and then post a link to it in this forum thread. We're accepting your submissions until Sunday, March 27 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Out of all entrants we will depend on your votes to help us pick the best fighter and the best wizard. The two victorious heroes will each be awarded with 10 GOG games of their choice.

We’ll get back to you guys at the end of the week with info on how we’ll be accepting voting; in the mean time, let the fight begin!

Gibush: Actually, I've changed my mind. That one could actually win, if only because of the diverse cast of characters and semblance of a plot. The trick was not bad either.
Haha, thanks. I think it might've been a star-making role for my dog.
Props for the Oblivion reference, btw. =D

I've been overdosing on Oblivion lately.
My Elder Scrolls addictions come in weird patterns. It's one of those series' that when you're really into it you don't really play other games. It's happened with Oblivion on Xbox, Morrowind on Xbox, now Oblivion on PC and I finally just got the Morrowind PC version... so there's no end in sight. And I've never even been to the Shivering Isles yet.

Sheogorath (the maniacal Daedra-Prince) is fantastic, but I wish the Shivering Isles had more cities. If you haven't checked out the Nehrim mod yet, do it. I'm not too far in but it's pretty cool.

Just replied to your youtube comment, don't feel like copying the answer on here.

Gammix: This is my entry for the Wizard contest, I'll be making a Fighter entry tomorrow.

I'm starting to get worried. There are lots of better wizards than me. (Great job, Gammix!)

Thanks! Although I actually really like yours - even though you said it's really simple, I can't figure it out. My first thought was video-editing, but you'd have to have done an impossibly good job keeping your hand in the right place... so that theory's out the window. I thought about looking it up but that would kill the fun. =)
Well, my chances have just gone to zero.
Let me humbly announce my entry for the Battlecry...

I tried to add some humour, I think I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Luckily I owned all of the weapons and clothing so didn't have to buy anything :) The editing is terrible but it is my first time using video software, sorry!

Hope it's enjoyable to watch :)

Wow, these are all so much more complex/have more sets than mine... that was pretty good too. Was the guard in Holy Grail eating an apple or did you add that?
Yeah some of these are really great. I knew there'd be some people out there willing to go the extra mile and do something a bit more elaborate than just a scream into the camera.
(Which is basically all I did) :-)

I liked yours too, LazerHUN. I have some theories, but I don't really want to ask because like Gammix said that would kill the fun.

I also think we're all a little worried, the competition is pretty steep in the wizarding world.

Curses, I'm editing mine together now and all my hopes were riding on you not participating! Confound it! One day, messir, I will find you, and our duel will shake the heavens.

Edit: And on that note: NIH!

I'd enter the wizard one but I don't know any tricks.

Are the entries accepted until midnight today or what?

Edit: Yup. 11:59

The only thing that I'll tell, it's not video editing, it's a real trick. I amused my classmates as well with it:)
