The quest to help discover the Ubisoft treasures as we’ve relaunched our catalogue has been going for two weeks now and the armies of GOG Heroes grow with every day. It's time for another quest and another shoot at great loot. This time you need to prove your worth!

As a fighter on the battlefield you have to show how brave you are even when the enemies are numerous and they are better equipped. To show your comrades there's nothing to fear you have to use the best taunt you can come up with. That's why your quest is to record a short video showing your best GOG battle cry. Keep it clean, though, ‘cause GOG doesn’t fight dirty.

A good wizard is crafty and fights with more than just brawn. His biggest strength is the ability to mess with his enemies' brains. As a wizard, record a short video on which you'll show us your best magic trick - be it a trick with cards, coins, rabbits or disappearing ladies - mess with our heads and you'll complete your quest.

Once you’ve made your battle cry or your magic trick, upload it to YouTube and then post a link to it in this forum thread. We're accepting your submissions until Sunday, March 27 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Out of all entrants we will depend on your votes to help us pick the best fighter and the best wizard. The two victorious heroes will each be awarded with 10 GOG games of their choice.

We’ll get back to you guys at the end of the week with info on how we’ll be accepting voting; in the mean time, let the fight begin!
As a dual-class, I can send the foes of DRM-free gaming running with my battle cry, reserving my formidable sorcery for only the most worthy of adversaries.

GOG.com Hero: The dark powers of LordKuruku

Enjoy! :D

Fujek: Ouch, no (working) digital camera and you're screwed on this one (like myself) :/

Same situation here :-(

I postered a comment on your YouTube vidyer.
I suppose I'd better get my magic on.
Oh crap, I just realized... Did I have to have taken part in the last two "parts" of GOG Hero? Is it too late?

To quote EnigmaticT's message from eighteen posts prior:

TheEnigmaticT: I'd also note that you're welcome to join in now even if you haven't participated in the previous two quests.
Go nuts. I've done all the quests save for the first one, myself.

Hopefully this act picks up a little speed. With the current trend, we're getting one submission every 1/6th of a day! That's not nearly enough!

If you win 10 games, what price can they be? Just 5.99 or any?

Also I assume The Witcher 2 doesn't count.

Any 10 games currently for sale in the catalog. This naturally excludes games that aren't for sale yet, like The Witcher 2 and That Game That You've Always Wanted GOG To Release But We Haven't Yet. :)

Kunovski: I'M NOT A CONJURER OF CHEAP TRICKS! :D

VoodooEconomist: Then do an expensive one :P Go fight a Barlog!
So far I've only learned the Armageddon spell, and I'm saving that for 2012...

So, no Superhero League of Hoboken, then? Dammit.

About the video, do they have to be prestidigitation tricks or can they be video editing tricks? I'm dying to make people mock me and my terrible editing abilities.
WTF? How does my video have 111 views? Do people actually search "GOG Battlecry"? I only linked it on here. Maybe GOG has more forum members than I thought.

Anyway... shockingly few entries!

Hey, I've got 85. You posted yours before mine, and probably put more effort into it than I did. Also, mine is unlisted, as I've not uploaded a video in two years and didn't want to disappoint any subscribers (if I have any left) who'd think I've returned, and I also didn't want anybody I know in real life to see it. :P

So yeah, since my video can only be found from the link which I've only posted in this topic, it means we've got a lot of forum members watching and not nearly enough joining in!
I can 100% guarantee that I didn't put more work into mine than yours.
Yours had fast-forward effects and nature (kind of). I didn't even leave my room.

Same here, I got 188 views. GOG has a pretty big community.
