drmlessgames: I dont discriminate against people who smoke and drink. I just dont want to inhale their smoke as well. They should smoke their lives out in a confined place where they only take themselves out and not the rest, that is, me. Who are you or anyone to tell them not to smoke themselves, or to tell fat people to keep putting stuff in their mouths.
avatar
Weclock: stop bein' so sensitive ya pussy. I'm not going to tell you to stop eating, or to stop fuckin' around, so don't you make a law tellin' me where I can and cannot smoke. if I'm in a bar, and the owner of the bar says, here's an ashtray, go ahead and smoke, then god fuck it why can't I smoke?
it's not so much of a "i want to smoke in the newborn ward of the hospital" as so much of a "people like to drink and smoke together, and if the bar owner says it's ok, then why in gods name can't we do it?"
did you ever see that southpark episode with Rob Rhiner (fuck I don't give a shit about how to spell his goddamn lastname)?
There's a point where he goes into a bar, where people are allowed to smoke, and he just goes off the rails on this dude.

Of course, I'm all for smoking and non-smoking areas in public places like restaurants, what I dont like is asswipes blowing their chimmeney pipes in my face on the bus station, while walking down the street, and so forth. I mean, dopeheads have the courtesy to go to a special room to get high, why can't smokers do the same?

you live with a special breed of asshole then, because even if I'm walking on the street I will do my best to make sure people don't get smoke in their faces (unless they are already smoking).

So, in other words, discrimination is OK when it affects you but not OK when it affects everyone else? How rich of you..

Nobody "hates" fat people other than idiots.
But why the hypocrisy? Lets be honest here. Being overweight is very unhealthy. And ugly. Of course, guys can look good while overweight it if they're strong and well built, but not girls.
People who call you thin when you know you're overweight are not kind, but hypocrites. They don't care that you could improve your life expectancy or get a spouse, etc. They just want you to thank them while they laugh at you behind your back.

nah, if you're 250 pounds, male or female, that's pretty gross

There's a huge difference between "putting on a few Christmas pounds" and being unhealthily overweight. These people were not banned from the site for being unhealthily fat, quite the opposite, they were banned for is not only quite healthy, but completely normal: gaining some winter weight.
I won't even dignify the sexist half of your statement with a response.

If someone were truly overweight or obese, no one would ever lie to their face and tell them they look thin. It is ridiculous to even address that kind of bald face lie as if it is somehow a rampant problem. However, there is absolutely nothing wrong with telling someone who has a healthy weight that they look good just the way they are. A "healthy weight" does not mean 0% body fat, six pack abs and a toned butt, a healthy weight just means that they weigh about the appropriate amount for their height and body type. They might have a little less muscle tone or a little more body fat than what is arbitrarily considered "perfect", but the fact is, our current standard of perfection for the human body is actually quite unhealthy and not what the human body is normally capable of. Our perception of what the body looks like, especially the female body, has become so warped over the years that we have completely forgotten what the human body is supposed to look like.
Here's a hint - nothing like this:

exactly, which is why when my girlfriend goes "oh I'm fat!" I tell her "Really, well you look gorgeous to me."
There is a difference between overweight and obese. When they tip over to obese it is a sign of them not caring, a trait I do not find attractable because you can tell it in the way they act. It's more than actual weight you know, it's how they deal with it that separates people. Being 10-20 pounds overweight is not damning but could in fact be someone actively exercising and dieting and who lost tons of weight already but it's easy to tell when someone isn't trying.

you must master the quote system, or it will master you.
also, the scale of which we measure one as over weight or not is broken, healthy is actually usually a few pounds overweight for some people, and a few pounds underweight for others.

Very true, and that was what I was trying to point to. You can tell when someone doesn't care and when someone is at least trying, and that leads to mental compatibility with a woman I look for as that's a trait I like.
I will go on a slight rant though, on the opposite side of the spectrum the women who are stronger than me and can kill me on accident in bed (bodybuilder women) scare the crap outta me. Foreplay would end up in broken limbs or worse. So a happy healthy balance in the middle is okie doke to me.
I didn't realize discussing fat people could be so much fun.

Lulz, I just imagined you saying that in a German accent like the one from Inglorious Basterds.
