Well this seems to be a good place to start: http://morrowind4kids.com/pseronwyrd/lists/Dual%20List.html

I don't know how well it works since it'll be used more as a shield than another weapon (most Oblivion mods do that too though so it's understandable). Will be quite awesome to see how well some of these might work.

I'm at work currently so I can't give any of these a shot right now. If you do try any of them could you let me know what you think?
Necroposting, plagiarism... jeez Roman5, obviously "think before you act" isn't a concept you're particularly familiar with. You've really made some mistakes here.

Better you steal the work of others here than somewhere that could effect your employment. Not that it's any more justified, and it's certainly sullied your reputation here at least as much as could be expected, but when I was in high school, one of the things they emphasized most in English class was to avoid plagiarism. Unfortunately, at that point, it's one of the few things they teach you, but I'll save ranting about shitty education standards for another day.

I don't even have any reviews on GOG, and I'm doing just fine. Well, I have a GOGmix, but it's not very good and I really only made it because I felt I should make at least one. I don't feel I've played many of the games I have here to the extent that I feel I can properly review them. I really should try some time, but I like to be thorough, accurate, and review every aspect.

The point is, what the hell was the point of you wanting to have "your" reviews seen? What good does it do? Even a five sentence paragraph would have sufficed. You could have outright relayed other reviews here and given sources, but even then, it's a waste of space (if somebody didn't want the review of another GOG user, they'd look for reviews elsewhere, and usually do anyway), as well as a waste for an opportunity to give your own opinion and write your own review.

The "cute" way you responded when you were called out, complete with smiley, was particularly shameful. We all make mistakes (I said something when I joined that gave me hundreds of negative reputation, you... well, were being you, and Roberttitus can't even trust a link provided by GOG staff and should probably start doing his browsing in a VirtualBox within a VirtualBox, kinda like something out of a movie a friend of mine won't shut up about), but if you can learn from them (and believe me, few people can), it helps.

Well, best of luck to you anyway, Roman5. Hope you'll make some real reviews in the future.

I would if I could find my copy of Morrowind... which has seemingly disappeared =O

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead?
*popcorn*

And good job bazilisek .
I have a simple rule. I don't review something I haven't finished. (Anyone paying attention will note I have no reviews up here, heh).

What Roman5 did was wrong, yes. But there is no need to have a thread specifically decrying his actions. I think it's best in a case like this to scratch your head, shrug, and move on. Just remember the occasion next time you see him reviewing or commenting on a game, and take what he says with a grain of salt.
This is just too bad to be true, but there it is.

Forwards!

Close enough! Just add a dash of Matrix and blend in some Leonardo DiCaprio.

A bunch of lame hype, over a special effects bonanza with a disjointed story, with an unexplained but extremely obvious "twist" at the end (and not unexplained in a good way, either).

I was hoping for Di Caprio to redeem himself from the horrid Body of Lies movie, and yet, Body of Lies, as crappy as it was, was a better movie.

There does appear to be a range of opinions on that movie - I liked it, a friend of mine who usually is snobbish towards movies loved it, and my father got bored of it and fell asleep. I thought the writing and acting were strong, the story structure and effects fit the material, and it was a very solid movie with some interesting science fiction concepts.

Then you have orcish's opinion. :) So there you have the range of opinions for the movie. I do agree the "twist" was lame, but re-watching the very, very end segment - I'm not sure there actually is a twist because it ... um ... well ... how to put this ... well ... ah ... yeah just not a twist (not because you were supposed to get it all along, but because there is nothing to get at the end, it's just a little obscure but the thing your waiting for does/should happen - you can either hear it happen and/or accept that physics is real and that the thing that is seemingly not changing should ... change). Wow that itself should be obscure enough.

@orcish, you should check out Shutter Island, not my cup of tea for movie subject matter, but I heard it was very good and Di Caprio seems to do his best work with Scorsese.

-------------

@roman5: since the consequences of plagiarism are low in this instance, please take it as a free learning experience. In real life, the consequences are losing your job, getting kicked out of school, etc... It is always good to cite your sources - using sources for material is fine as long as you cite them appropriately. I'm not saying you have to do full MLA on a GOG forum/game review, but certainly providing a link or enough info to find where you got the statements from would be good. Someone linking to 'real' critic's reviews (for whatever they're worth for game reviews) and using them in their own review would be far from a bad thing as long as credit is given to the original authors and especially if you have something contribute to it as well. I look forward to reading your reviews in your voice in the future. Cheers.

the only thing I got from that movie was all the hype it received. It was like if the movie had been directed by chris nolan, another mediocre overrated movie guy.
I'm really surprised this incident got this much attention, or this much of a reaction.

In a lot of cases, the reviews on GOG are short, poorly written declarations of nostalgic fervor. I often ignore them entirely, and I've only written a couple when I felt very, very strongly about a game.

It's interesting to see this stir such emotion and ridicule.
LOL

I would have read this thread sooner but the "Beating a dead horse" bit made me think it was another bloody Roman5 GOG flag-waving thread.
