So it hit its funding in 1 week. Anyone backing?

Would be nice to maul things for once.
Is this seriously going to be a sign of things to come? *sigh*.
It is getting pretty lean on new (good) ideas out there isn't it? :/
As long as it's bears vs hunters, or bears vs bears (aka other players), or bears vs hunters (aka other players).
I just to maul innocent humans and snatch picnic baskets for stress relief. If the devs show a feature of that, I'll back it.
Joking aside, I believe (and have said so in the past) that enabling people to play as realistic animals in their natural environments could form an experience that's as fun as educational. Basically it could teach the same things as a documentary, but in a way that would be more fun, and more memorable, for many people.

I'm not sure that's what this kickstarter is about though ...
What's next, duck simulator? O<
That kickstarter page gave me some good laughs. The developer has a great sense of humor. :)

"TL;DR - It's like a mini Skyrim but you're a bear"

I also liked in the video how the bear tried to enter an outhouse and the screen said, "You need a key." :p

The release day of April 1st still has me believe they are just messing with us and the game is not real.

If it's fake, they'd sure put in alot of effort on the Kickstarter video/game demo.

I'm late to the party and didn't even know there's a playable demo. So I wasn't going by facts, really ;) The whole idea of a goat sim just sounds outrageously prankish. Reminds me of Kaurismäki's Zombie and the Ghost Train, of a band everyone is aware of, but noone has ever seen them play.

Haha, I meant the video pitch demo in the KS page.

Alright, in that case, call me a sceptic still, haha :)

Holy shit. This is AWESOME! If I had money, some of it would go to this.

Dude, this isn't Bunny Simulator Kickstarter. This is Bear Simulator Kickstarter! Bear! A bear could rip off someone's head like a human being opening a bottle of mayo. A bear is one of the most powerful animals in this world. Of course, not even close to being as dangerous as man but still.. A bear's life is also full of action considering a bear needs to eat meat and can't go to a nearby super market to get some meat... They could rename the game to Giant Monster Simulator and they wouldn't be deceiving people. There is a reason, there is pepper spray and there is bear spray...
