nijuu: Still mulling over this one. Only $4. And bundle seems better than the last one (i still havent forgiven them giving me what basically amounted to a year trial with that damn so called bonus Aquarium pos). Already have Beat Hazard - awesome. I'd get it forBaconing,Madballs & Sol Survivor (saves me coughing up for that other bundle).

Tormentfan: LMAO, yeah we all have to 'be there' for each other in times of great temptation, like an AA meeting. :D

nijuu: Must resist. Must resist. Having withdrawals.... must not buy!!!! ;)
Just for The Baconing it deserves the 4$.... (The game itself cost 13euro for me) So yeah definetly it is a sweet deal

Yeah seems like it. Doesnt seem any point in reserving it early though unlike IR bundle.

They said that the reason for the pre-order availability is to even orders out a bit, to prevent what happened when the previous bundle launched.

So the only incentive is that you might get it quickly, instead of having to potentially suffer through another site failure when this launches.

And the odds of that happening again? (i see they will be up in 3 days...)

Not a 100%. :)

I think that the pre-order will help, but given the experience from the last time, it won't surprise me to see the sight becoming sluggish or inaccessible at times. I don't think it will be for long periods, though.

Under normal circumstances yeah I agree, but when it's mostly Steam only? I'm not sure it's in the gamer's best interest to comply when we see even indies using DRM-only methods of protection... Steam may be benign in a lot of ways, but it's still causing restrictions in one's ability to access and play what should be a rightful purchase, I thought DRM-free was expected when dealing with indie setup?

Also music and a movie? I hope this idea doesn't become a regular padder, I want to purchase games.

The only reason I'm considering the bundle is because of it's charity aspects.

Groupees usually includes DRM-free download AND Mac version whenever possible.

Oh yeah, I saw that it wasn't ALL DRM-only, but this is trying to sneak it past us because other's done have it.

This is how it's done, get us used to the idea by doing this kind of thing a little bit at a time.
I cant remember with the first bundle, but can you upgrade your contribution level say buy it at $4 initially then bump to $10 later (to get the added extra?.No so much interested in Killing floor - have it already tho) ?
As I've decided to buy DRM-games only when I'm sure I'll start playing the said game right away, limited time DRM-bundles (Steam or otherwise) are dead to me.

I don't even recognize any of the game titles in this bundle (or most other bundles either), maybe they are more familiar to people who've bought lots of indie games on Steam before.

IIRC, there's a button in your account to do so.
Launch has been delayed again, release time has been changed to TBA. I guess they're doing more to prepare so they don't get swamped again.

Poorly planned again?

Yeah, that's a lot more likely. Considering the interest in this bundle we can expect the website to be down on launch again.
How come these guys continue to assemble great bundles, but somehow are completely unprepared for the interest these bundles generate?
