AlexY: No wonder people thought Okami was a kids game and God Hand was lame. No one got them. And I fear nobody will understand Bayonetta's point either.

God Hand was my pick for best PS2 game ever.
Also, where'd you get the idea that Bayonetta was a mother?

'Cause she's old. And ugly. If she were hot, I'd be getting a console right now.

She is. Cereza is her daughter. (The little girl with ponytails and glasses in the trailer.) Go figure!
And God Hand is awesome, I'm playing it as we speak. :D

deathkitten: burn all anime crap with NAPALAM

... Wait, you have degraded? It's not orbital bombing, it's just a plain old napalm. You should reconsider your standards, really.

AlexY: She's a testament to everything (most) gamers like to play as, just infinitely sexier. She's also a MILF.

Again, she's just ordinary, not infinitely sexier. I love MILFs, but she isn't one to me. She's just a mother. =P
I have no problem playing as a female character. My point is that this game has mostly been driven by sex appeal, and the appeal isn't there for me. Like I said, she's cute, but that's it.
Like Alyx from HL2... So much was put into about how sexy she is, and rah rah rah. And she's not, she's cute but I wouldn't go as far as drooling all over her.
But anyway, DMC was cool, but I never bought another in the series after the original. God of War is awesome, purely because I had a fascination of ancient Greek dieties as a kid. But I feel like I've grown out of the gameplay.
As for Okami, I have that on the PS2, unfortunately I also have a huge backload of games on the PS2. So I'll get around to that in 2012.

Urb4nZ0mb13: I know you guys aren't particularly fans of console gaming, but I was wondering if any of you were looking forward to this game.
I already own it and have been playing it for a good week or so now, just seeing what you guys think.

ilves: I have a console, but for some reason the entire marketing campaign of this game that focused on how hot the protagonist is supposed to be kinda turned me off. Especially since I didn't find her particularly attractive, more of an overblown caricature (i.e., what every slightly older stern anime woman that's still hot with glasses looks like, except more overblown).
I don't actually know anything about the game itself though, probably because it wasn't marketed on its gameplay.

Does anyone find digital characters sexually stimulating, this one in particular? Kindof scary. Although I suppose Tomb Raider is more non-fictional than most porn stars.

Well, I don't see the problem with that. A fictional character is a fictional character, whether from a videogame or a book or a movie, etc. If teenage girls can swoon over Twilight, I can swoon over sweet sweet Bayonetta.

The girl in Wet looked pretty neat. Speaking of which, did anyone p;ay that game? It looked SUPER stylish to me, yet it kindof came and went.

Yeah, WET had style, but lacked finesse. Repetitive and bland gameplay. One hell of an adrenaline rush though.
