Malorie: Games with a bold sense of style are wonderful things.

Urb4nZ0mb13: Games with a bold sense of style = games with female leads? jk I know what you mean
You should look into MadWorld, same developer, bold sense of style, etc.

Mhm, I'm looking forwards to that too... Platinum Games already looks to be one of my favourite companies!

Seriously, now they just need to port their games to the PC and I'll be the happiest guy in the world.
I liked the game until I heard the main character's voice.
wow is that grating

I don't find anything wrong with it, I just accept the fact that its supposed to be somewhat corny according to the specifications of the game designer and forget about it.

Grating? More like pure sexy.
Like Urb4nZ0mb13 says, you really just have to buy into the whole premise to enjoy the game in all its craziness. Besides, I respect their all out goofy setting and characters rather than the Resident Evil series' horrible B-style movie dialogue and acting that still tries to tell a serious story but just ends taking away the immersion.
Bayonetta likely won't be a great game, but I think it'll still be an enjoyable romp. As long as the camera keeps zooming and panning close in while she strikes those sexy battle poses, I'm totally going to play this game.

...and fap furiously. ;-]
And why do so many people have negative points? Did some moody person just decide this thread was crap and go on a spree? LOL

All right, I watched all trailers on gametrailers with sound ... And everything :D
Voice is all righ, but... Hey, she's not even sexy for crying out loud! And that kinda seems like something game's built around :D
Anyway, I didn't find Dante sexy(my g/f did on the other hand, let's call it a balance in the universe, I'll destroy her later) and I still enjoyed the game, so we'll see...

Everyone has a different definition of sexy...

Oh yes, I know, that's why I wrote it as light-toned as I could :D (... I hope it makes sence)
Well, to be honest she might turn out to be badass sexy ;]. It all depends how much of promises that devs and publishers presented will actually be true. And whats good of good graphics if gameplay will suck a big one?
The gameplay premise is this: the more advanced combos and techniques you use, the more hair is consumed for fighting, leaving less hair for clothing.... (her clothes are made of her hair)
Sounds too good to be true if you ask me. :D

Heh heh, I agree. *salivating* :P But one thing I'm even more excited about is the brief glimpses of some boss battles. They look like they could be absolutely awesome!

I think that goes without saying.
Also, it's nice to see some sexiness outside of the DOA series or Tomb Raider. Physically, Lara Croft and the DOA girls look gorgeous, but they're just so stereotypical and predictably boring in the way they move, act, etc.

:D See we're not total opposites after all... I can't stand Lara Croft. Mostly because I -am- an archaeologist. I expect real policemen, detectives, MI5 agents, etc. feel the same way about the manner in which some movies portray their professions.
On the other hand, I always looked forward to seeing what the next Bioware archaeologist quest was going to be. They worked one into most of their games for a while.

You mean you don't carry twin pistols and wear short shorts on your archaeological quests? I am so disillusioned right now.
