It's time to change your EA passwords AGAIN

Lulzsec have apparently gone scared the hell out of them, and they proclaimed they are done with hacking.

http://pastebin.com/1znEGmHa

So, you may call them heroes, but all they did, they did this for the lulz, and nothing more.

excerpt from the statement:

All to selflessly entertain others - vanity, fame, recognition, all of these things are shadowed by our desire for that which we all love. The raw, uninterrupted, chaotic thrill of entertainment and anarchy. It's what we all crave, even the seemingly lifeless politicians and emotionless, middle-aged self-titled failures.

Jeebus Effin' Christ! How many times do I have to change that thing! I just changed it a few days ago because of the NWN hack.

So, LulzSec claims they are "moving on", huh? I see this as one of two things: either they really are bored with everything now and are going to move on to other things (which can only mean bad things for the rest of us) or, the recent arrests and the attention from other "hacktivists" has scared the shit out of them and they running away like the scared little girls they are. I really hope it's the latter!

No, they've really gone. The personal details of each member is now out in the wild so they've scarpered.

As for this 'password leak'... There are no passwords. All it is is your username and the MD5 hash of your password. You'd still have to bruteforce a hash to get the password.

And if it's md5, it won't be long before matches are found (not necessarily the exact same string, but at least something that produces the same hash).

Stronger hashes might take a little longer.

This is another really bad strike to EA, this whole thing really puts a dent in their plan for their new Origin system
Stronger hashes might take a little longer.
Like a thousand years :P

Apparently, they just got scared. No wonder, I bet they're between 19-25 yrs old, and having CIA, FBI and other authorities on their necks, they have to feel a lil bit "surrounded".

Also, like cogadh mentioned, many REAL hackers have already enough of them, and they're helping the Police etc. with finding them.

They're running like squaky pigs. But they all will be butchered soon (evil laugh)
Stronger hashes might take a little longer.

They are.

Their profiles are on the Reddit frontpage right now. That's all I'll say.

They are? I didn't see them, or are they "hidden" behind an obscure headline?

No, I just usually check out the "what's hot" front page for anything interesting.

Yeah, I found it about 5 seconds after I posted, was too busy reading it to edit my old post.

Oh, I'm sure someone will be paying them a visit, they deserve it. However, it was kind of douchey of "The A-Team" to post that info about Uncommon's sisters. What do they have to do with any of this?

I think they did this to make 'em feel how it is to see your personal data being published in the Internet.
