Hi Guys,

My name is Jan Theysen. I'm the creative director at KING Art Games.

RoseLegion informed me about this thread in the Kickstarter comments. I just wanted to thank you for your support!

I met two very nice guys from GoG in Berlin on Wednesday and we talked about Battle Worlds: Kronos. It's all looking very good :-)

Thank YOU!
It's a shame we did not manage to reach the final stretch goal (the gaming press is partly to blame for that, as far as I'm concerned - BW:Kronos definitely suffered from the lack of exposure), but I'm hopeful the game will be successful enough to warrant a proper expansion.
KING Art have just released a demo of the game:
http://battle-worlds.com/demo/

Don't hesitate to try it out!
Bugger! Download through Steam only.

Too bad. I'd really like to give this game a try.
But maybe a stand-alone version will be released as well soon.

Thanks for the information.

Don't they sell it here on GOG, or you mean the Kickstarter backer thing?

I be keeping a close eye on this one.

He means the demo. For some reason KING Art don't want everybody in the world to play the demo. That or the demo has achievements, will be updated heavily or stores savegames in the cloud or relies heavily on DRM.

He was talking about the demo, it's only available via Steam for now.
I bought the game on release here and I like it very much. With the demo they also published a new update for the game improvement. If anybody cares, Kronos does obviously not update through GOG, but uses its own game launcher to check for updates and install them. Dunno if one can backup a fully updated version of the game or if there will be an updated installer available at some point on GOG.

As for the demo, I checked their homepage and for English the demo seems really only available through Steam at the moment. For German the demo is available without Steam here: http://battle-worlds.de/demo
or as a direct download here: http://www.crimsoncow.de/bwk_demo_setup.exe
I have not tried the demo, maybe it is multi-language. Anybody interested should try! At least I suppose the English demo might come without Steam on their homepage as well soon.
