Thank you so much. +1!
What about you, chief? Have any bargain bin story to tell? Any great steal or a unbelievable lost opportunity? Or perhaps something more moderate?
Thanks, I'm in for Realms of the Haunting

My best bargain I think was Sin Episode (including Sin 1), for 40 cent in a Gamestop :D
Not in. +1
Thank you for the giveaway, Grargar! I'm in for

- Expendable
- Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising
- Incoming+Incoming Forces
- Slipstream 5000
- Superfrog

I remember one time when I found some old Microprose games (Pizza Tycoon, Transport Tycoon, Subwar 2050... and they were all in mint conditions, all in big boxes) in a bookstore (It's a bookstore that used to sell videogames too), and I was like a boy in a candy store! And they were very cheap (about 5 Turkish lira per game, which is less than $2!). And I bought every Microprose games available! :)

My biggest regret not picking a game from a bargain bin is related to a Cryo game. It was Lost Eden, one of my favorite adventure games, and I once found its American big box edition in a computer store (I don't remember its price but I don't think it was much) and I didn't buy it! I didn't have enough money at that time, and when I later went to the shop for the game, it was already gone! :( This was literally my "lost eden"! You can see the cover of the game in the attached image.

My histories are more about phisic games than virtual deals...
For example one nice deal was a N64 pokemon edition (a bit rare) with the joystick in good contidion, manuals + sm64 with box near 30 bucks . Is harrd think in the real price that I paid in dollars because the local currency value is changing every time. (Now 1 dollar = 10 pesos argentinos)

Sorry for my bad english

That's the kind of games I was actually asking. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the giveaway, Grargar! I'd like to enter for:

- Slipstream 5000
- Expendable
- Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising
- Commandos Ammo Pack

I don't have much of an interesting story, but last year I saw all these games in a store.

Some really awesome big boxes of classic games in there (especially Bird Hunter!! :p). I wish I had gotten maybe one or two of them - especially Revenant, since that one isn't on GOG (yet).

Cheers! :)

Holy shit. I haven't seen such large boxes here in Greece for a long, long time.
I do not have nay interesting story to share. But if I can, I am in for Superfrog.
Thanks +rep
Bargain Bin - a concept so alien in my country. And poorly understood. Also applied to music and movies only. For games, the prices are staying the same for a billion years. And there is no bargain bin for games. There were a few attempts and those were dropped fast. What can i say: brick and mortar sucks in the gaming area, in my friggin' country.

Those being said, in for:

1 .Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising
2. Commandos: Ammo Pack
3. Incoming+Incoming Forces
Hello to everyone!

Let me make a last bump before I close the giveaway in about 5-6 hours.

I'm in for Commandos Ammo Pack!

As for the bargain bin part, well I'm not sure if this game was in a bin or not, but I remember walking around in a game store and seeing this mech game called "Metal Fatigue" on the shelf. It looked kinda cool, so I bought it and tried it out and it was pretty fun! Right now it's on the GOG wishlist too!
I'm in for Expendable

Five years ago while on holidays I stopped in a small town electronics store and got Titan Quest Gold for five bucks. Thank you for this giveaway :)
I'm in for Slipstream 5000.

In Germany, many years ago I was in a store that was selling new copies of Vampire Bloodlines for around 5 euros each. I regret not buying all 50 to 100 copies. :( This was a lost opportunity because now one physical copy of Vampire Bloodlines(New) is valued around $300. And the Steam version sucks because it doesn't work right with unofficial patches. The game is unplayable without unofficial patches.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!

The giveaway is, as of now, closed. Give me some minutes to consult Lady Luck (random.org) for the winners. I'll be right back.
