Thanks! Count me in for Realms of the Haunting.

Best win? A GameBoy Advance, with Sonic Advance inside, for a dime at a garage sale.

Worst lost? Went to a Savers once with my dad in Vegas; they had a whole wall of classic PC games lining the shelves, in the boxes, for dirt cheap. We didn't have a lot of money, though, so I could only get two :'( While I saved Bioforge and a Titanic game, the rest are probably gone now...
Thanks for your generosity, Grargar!

Please, count me in for:

- Expendable
- Commandos Ammo Pack
- Realms of the Haunting
- Incoming+Incoming Forces

As for your question, I remember when I found Oni in the bargain bin. I usually prefer games with "realistic" characters (instead on manga based ones) but the game picked my interest and I bought it. Man, what a blast! :)

In for:

-Slipstream 5000

My best bargain bin win recently was "GTA Trilogy" on DVD ROM for $3.

Thanks for the fun giveaway Grargar!
I'm in for Commandos: Ammo Pack or Superfrog.

My story: One that comes immediately to mind is recently after buying a PS2 Slim, because the fat one stopped working optimally, I found Test Drive: Off Road in a store for $1 which was a really cool deal for me because I used to play the PC version when I was little on a Win 95 PC and haven't been able to play it for years, thus I picked it up.
Another story: Getting Red Faction for PS2 for $2, which seemed like a really good deal until I got the PC version here recently, at least the PS2 version had bot matches.
I once found Dynablaster for Amiga for 5 DM in a store (about 2,56 Euro), had a lot of fun with it (especially at 5 player battles).

In for all 7 games (Don't have any of them).
In for Superfrog. Thank you.

Circuit City/Best Buy/TRU/etc. bargain bins were amazing last gen.

I got tons of ps2/gcn/gba games for 5 or 10 dollars each. Probably still haven't finished all of them yet (though I have most of them).

I feel a bit bad about not buying a used disc only Suikoden 2 at gamestop for aroud $12-14, before it became the big hipster game and surged in price. :/
In for Superfrog.
In for (in order of preference):
Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising
Superfrog
Slipstream 5000
Incoming + Incoming Forces
Expendable

Haven't had so much luck with the bargain bin for games unless you can count the Sid Meier's Humble Bundle with Civ 3 & 4 in it.

Do you have any bargain bin deal/lost opportunity story to share? :)

Well, I do find a bunch of good cheap games at Half-Price Books every now and then, like the Leisure Suit Larry collection, Star Trek DS9 Harbinger, and Forgotten Realms Classics. (A bunch of D&D games) Of course, Half-Price doesn't always have the best deals, as Lords of Magic Special Edition cost $10, which seemed great until I found out I could have gotten it here at gog for half that and DRM-free.
A good bargain bin I got a while ago, the Bioshock Infinite Season Pass was accidently put on sale for $5. Twenty minutes after I bought it they had taken it down.

My favorite bargain bin game is Football Mogul 2007. I bought it at a Big Lots store (sort of a bargain bin store itself) for around five dollars. It's a (American) Football simulation game, where you take control of a team and you deal with it's finances (set ticket prices, etc etc), sign/release/draft/trade players, and call plays during the game. it's like NFL Head Coach, only text based...and fun. It's really detailed and realistic (calling the same plays over and over will help you lose, unreliable players can go from superstar to bench warmer and back to superstar over the course of a few seasons, players near retirement will lose their skills quickly and will retire or they'll be released, lower draft picks/undrafted players are generally terrible, but can be developed into quality backups/starters, etc etc) and is generally just well thought out. I actually just went and found my copy of this game, I think I'll be playing it some tonight haha.
I'm in^^. Thanks

Commandos Ammo Pack
Realms of the Haunting

As for story. My big lost opportunity in last months was missing Morrowind + both datadiscs for 1 CZK (approx. 5 cents). I missed it just for couple of minutes. Since I have no own copy still regret :(
In for Realms of the Haunting or Superfrog.

Trying to think of a bargain bin story...the only thing coming to mind right now is that a few years ago I found a copy of Alien Legacy at an antique store in the middle of nowhere. It was the only video game in the whole place, so I bought it. I guess I should get around to playing it sometime - I tried it once when we got home but it didn't install because of compatibility issues or something.

Other than that, I still regret not picking up Strike Commander when it used to be a bargain bin fixture at the EBX I used to frequent.
