My bet is that for $5.99 we will get this thursday for #500 a bundle with:

1) Bard's Tale (2004)
2) Bard's Tale 1-3
3) Bard's Tale Construction Set.

Yeah, that's what I think, too. The Bard's Tale will probably signify InXile becoming partners with GOG, laying the foundation for the eventual release of Wasteland 2 here.
considered picking this up for 2.49 during the last Steam sale but decided against it for some reason. Guess I'm not sure I'd enjoy the humor in this game.

I'd say $9.99 with an initial discount for being #500.

Yeah. I'm still hoping for Larry, but this seems possible too. Not really sure how "booby trap" plays into it, aside from The Bard's Tale 2004 website where your cursor gets slapped for moving over a woman's cleavage.

I would rather see BT games split into 2 packages: first with Bard's Tale 1-3 +Construction Set and second with Bard's Tale 2004

Sorry to burst your bubble guys, yet if memory serves, the only way Fargo was able to convince EA to allow him to distribute the original Bard's Tale was to include them into the remake. Now, I would be glad if EA decided to finally release the DOS versions here on GOG, but I wouldn't put my money it. Even though I am not interested in it, LSL seems more probable and it is always to add another classic for the collectors here.

The complete set was 2.49 on the last Steam sale (not sure construction set), how cheap do you want it to get? :p

I see. Well I'd prefer Larry, but that makes a lot of sense.

So what about his tweet then? ;)
U might be thinking of Wasteland 1 being attached to Wasteland 2....

This tweet was about the Bard's Tale remake, which also includes the Apple II GS versions of the first two games and the Apple II version of the third one. They are played from inside the remake itself. As for Wasteland 1, that is only bundled together with Wasteland 2, but if I understood it correctly, will not be run from the game itself (Unity to my knowledge doesn't have DOS emulation capability).

:-) it's not about money. I just think that selling separate bundles with classic games (1985-1991) and relative new InXiles’ Bard’s Tale - makes sense.

Fred_DM: sounds like a waste of time, tbh. life's too short for that. to me, anyway.

SLP2000: you know, there are people who say that gaming is a waste of time, because life's too short for that.
Let us gather our torches and pitchforks and seek out these evil people then and punish them!!!

I missed that unfortunately by buying the 2004 Bard's Tale on Steam quite a while back. So I got just that one game by itself and no others. :(

You sure? I recall the game was updated to include the orginals they should be listed in the main menu
