Well, time to get my third copy of the Bard's Tale remake.
Well, that's more than ok release, but, as a lot people here, I already have them on Steam. But it's a welcome addition to GOG catalogue nevertheless.
Something to look forward to. Haven't played it but have heard a lot about it. Is is good?
it's a good game, a bit clunky menu wise on the pc (bad port, using controller style inventory buttons) but a very fun game. I thought it was really funny but the humor isn't for everyone. I just recently got the ipad version for free and it included the old games too!

THAT MAKES ME THINK: shouldn't it be cool if gog offered the ipad version of games as an extra (on the top of my head: broken sword, last express, bard's tale, another world all have ipad versions...)
Thanks Indy
I'm enjoying the android version. If it's anything like the PC version I'll probably pick it up on GOG.... on sale.... :)
Great news. I have fond memories of the old game series on the C64. The new version of Bard's Tale was okay, I'd be more than happy to buy the game again if its gonna be a GoG DRM free version =)

Even the HB oiesnt offer extra ipad versions. Due to the way apple works, this is probably impossible.

DCT: Question is does he mean just the classic Bard's Tale games or is it going to be the one Inexile did in 2004 with the Apple GS versions of BT 1 and 2 and the Apple 2 version of BT 3?
Well, you get the old ones free with the new Bard's Tale from 2004 (even on Android/iOS) so I guess all of them will come to GOG.
as far as i'm concerned, that's GOG playing catch-up with the rest of the digital distribution world. like many others here, i already own The Bard's Tale on Steam. In addition, i also have a physical copy of the game.

Yeah, their release schedule is strange... They should have plenty of EA games that nobody sells anywhere (some of them DosBox, so easy to tweak for modern pcs), but they decide to catch up and sell the same games that people bought for $1.5 on steam already...

Well, but Bard's Tale is a classic, so it should be here. But rather NOT as the only release on one day. More like "support release"

exactly. the more games there are on GOG, the better. but i come to GOG for games that i cannot (legally) get anywhere else.

QC: I don't know anything about "A Bard's Tale". I tried to look it up and came across this.

I moved my mouse by accident over the girl on the right's chest and the mouse pointer got slapped. Since I'm on an unstable surface, she registered the mouse and slapped it two more times, and I wound up at a California Sexual Harassment Law firm.
Ha ha! Brilliant! :-)

January, after Christmas sales, isn't good month to release the titles they have high hopes about. We'll probably see more "already elsewhere" titles. Chicago 1930, A Vampyre Story, more Cultures, Bard's Tale.
I have the box set, also on android, but I will buy again if GOG gets them.....
