Has the world gone stark staring bonkers, or is it just me....

A British Tourist refused entry into US after tweeting he was going to 'destroy america' to a mate.

Clearly meaning 'destroy' as in have a good time, not actually try to destroy anything. Because if they were a Terrorist, I'm sure they would be sending tweets like that out, just , you know. make people aware of their intentions...

A certain section of the US has always been strongly isolationist though it took what 3 years to convince the US to join WWI and 2 years (and an attack on their own military) before they would allow the president to actually join WWII. Right now I'd say the isolationists are winning won't be long now before they try and close the borders...

I'm not sure how you think he comes across as a jerk, unless being outraged at being treated like a terrorist because of an innocuous comment (using American slang, no less) is being a jerk...
