F1ach: I think that if a game costs 60 euro and lasts for 5 hours, then price should be a factor in the review, but if its a gog game, 5 hours for a tenner shouldn't be an issue.
EDIT : out of curiosity, what game sparked the thread?
deshadow52: http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/robin_hood ^The one for this game that just came out today. I downvoted and reported as spam so hopefully it goes away.
This isn't anything to boast about.. so you don't like his opinion, but he has a right to have it.. it's not spam, you're just abusing the system.
Please keep your finger off the vote and report buttons til you gain a little maturity.
jamyskis: Price is part of the product, because part of its quality lies in the value it provides for the money. Deal with it.
jefequeso: There's hardly enough difference between $5.99 and $9.99 to justify the difference between a negative review and a positive review.
Besides which, I don't think that the price should enter into the judgement of a game's quality.
Of course it should.. there are plently of games, and other things, I'd consider worth my money if they were cheaper, and plenty others I'd be pissed at spending more money for.
What about indie games.. I'm pretty sure we can agree some of them give us a darn good amount of fun.. but if they suddenly started charging $60, you hear the shouts of "not good enough" and "I expect this in my game"... so price is totally relevent to a review.
If this game
is only 5 hrs... I'm not sure it's worth $10 either, it'll have to some amazing gameplay or atmosphere.
