Everyone knows there's three parts to the Sixth World: Meat, Machine, and Magic.
kud13: the reason they give is that the two types of magic have diff groundings? at least that's the impression I got. It's been years since i've read the novels (my only source of SR knowledge).
Yeah that's what they're saying, but that goes against everything else that shadowrun has had written for it for "ever since it was created". Along that line of thinking, every tradition of magic would have its own world view exclusive to itself, which is dumb.

It will be more like X-com or baldur's gate or fallout, in terms of interface. You'll have a party and go on missions, then execute tactical encounters to get the job done.
So, no, it won't really be like the SNES game, because that was just you being 1 guy.
