Check out my post below to see the new (much more awesome) rules.

bah, it's all girly music! No In Flames, no Soilwork, no Killswitch Engage?
Good game though, like a combination of the screamer time trial & the WPM game
I prefer playing vegas or ninja mono
also, people are less apt to care if it isn't a song they don't already love... kind of the whole point of audiosurf, no?
I would join if this were more an actual competition. By which I mean, you get people to enroll as contestants who then challenge one another. and the winner of each challenge goes to the next round.
For example, I play a song and post my score
my opponent plays the same song and posts his score with the intent to beat mine. the higher score has the other score subtracted to show how many points the person won by
then vice-versa
and whoever has the highest difference points wins the round
just an idea though
the only one I would consider playing is the Gorillaz song, and you might want to post screencaps to see what we're up against
Syndigpojke has a very awesome idea. Okay, the rules have changed:
I give you all a song and you have to beat my score. Whoever does it first will get a GOG worth $9.99 (again, as soon as I get my check, which with any luck should be arriving this weekend). The winner gets to choose a song, and whoever beats him at that is given a GOG by the first winner, they choose a song, and so on and so forth.
First song? Gorillaz: 19-2000. Conditions? Medium Mono, no Ironmode, The version to get would be the Amazon MP3 one off the Explicit album.
For whatever reason, I can't access my score, but if you beat it online, you'll come out over my name. I'm TheCheese33 on there, too.
Good luck!
I'll play for funzies, no games for me or for others from me, I just like audiosurf.

Ditto, I'll play for respect, not games. We don't have to make every boredom reliever here a prize quest.
Well under the new rules I'd be more likely to play but I'm not sure how I can certain it's going to be the same MP3, mine are all ripped from the original CDs rather than being digitial download sales
Will be tricky. Unless you can point to a free'n'legal musical source out there (oh which there are plenty), to increase the chances of us all using the same file.
Going by Last.fm, I'm one of those people who listens to stuff most f you don't. But If I have one of the songs, I'll join in the fun and see how bad I am.
Yeah, I can't use Amazon's music service in Hong Kong, but I'd love to play. This sucks.
How about using free songs?
For instance some from here:

If we are going to recommend places: 8 Bit Peoples, not only good tunes, some are real fun to play on Audiosurf.
Ninja Mono is awesome. I love playing my death metulz on it.

Same. :>
Really fast stuff (electro or metal) is always fun to play, the other genres are just boring imo... except some piano tracks.
