Art_Vandelay: If I could combine "Douche" and "Tool" into one word, that would describe Predcon. Such a HORRID excuse for a human being. Oh, yes, it is a real word.

Ungrateful, pompous ass.
I have to admit that his responses did make me chuckle though!

I believe that would be a tooshy, or touché, or something. None of them are real words anyway.

predcon: Parting shots don't make you any better. And I've been posting this issue simultaneously on several boards. GOG isn't a dedicated Doom source port community. Did you think I would rely solely on your advice?
avatar
GameRager: I wasn't making parting shots, just pointing out an interesting turn of events.

That being even the oddest of advice from the unlikliest of sources can be of help sometimes.
It was petty. Just like the responses from everyone else on this page. Seriously, Jason, you reply just insult me? Just because these are public forums doesn't mean you can come in, post your insults (whilst not saying anything on topic), and leave. It's not exactly a "private conversation", but if you're not going to contribute anything useful, shut your fucking mouth.

It wasn't petty. I was just making an observation.....maybe a bit chastising but not petty.

And btw you DO act a bit miffed sometimes, and can be deserving of said chastisment on occasion.

And who are you do cast that judgement on me? Do you work +24 hour days, with nothing in your stomach but wholesale cafeteria crap and coffee that tastes like adhesive solvent? You'd be conditioned towards impatience too if your job depended on precision and non-extraneous information. Granted, I shouldn't take work home with me, but it becomes ingrained. Even more so when the games I want to play don't work and I can't relax, and I've wasted all the time to wind down that I have, and have to go back to work even more pissed than I left. That's when people get hurt. Not my patients, obviously. That would be negligent. I'm talking about sensitive people.

I sympathise if your work leaves you stressed and I too have vented at others sometimes, I agree you should relax when and if you can & have suffered the crap of losing the scant free time you have then I also get where you're coming from to some small degree....
