Unfortunately, it's an 'upcoming' version. But it does show it's a known problem with your version.

Lol, I did not see that part.
But someone else had already stated (was it you? I think it was) that development was pretty much on life support. Still, a simple Google search turned up that it was a known issue for the old version...

That's why I recommended Doom Legacy to OP....and was going to suggest Vavoom but didn't know how to run the bloody thing.
Someone at the Doom Legacy boards mentioned a "build #199" which fixes the issue, but I can't find it.

Nevermind, it's the one the German Aztec guy linked to. And it works! What's "unstable" about it, though? Do they just label it "unstable" because of lack of beta testing or something?

I misspoke. It was the "New Doom" boards, which encompass the Doom Legacy boards, but also help Doomsday users.

Parting shots don't make you any better. And I've been posting this issue simultaneously on several boards. GOG isn't a dedicated Doom source port community. Did you think I would rely solely on your advice?

I wasn't making parting shots, just pointing out an interesting turn of events.

That being even the oddest of advice from the unlikliest of sources can be of help sometimes.
