I just logged into my Steam account and a free game has been added.

X3: Albion Prelude

Egosoft decided to reward all X Superbox owner with their latest game for free (normal price is $10). These guys are awesome. Now remember that if you have a retail version or a digitial version from GG, you can register it on Steam and get this free game.

X Beyond the Frontier has moved up in my play next list. I have a few other games to get thru first, but i will start it sometime early next year. I've been really looking forward to playing this series.

Aww, another game series going shitworks only (and just when I bought the superbox from GG). Oh well, if they don't want my money, they can shove the game where sun does not shine.

I have 2 copies of X Superbox. Still waiting for stupid Steam to add AP to my library, I've been checking since 5 hours ago.

I'm still playing X3: Reunion. 186 hours played, that's after 213 hours of X2. Going on to X3: TC next and then AP.

Dont worry. The official release date is Dec15, so give it another 24 hours. I probably just got lucky with my region thats all. I'm sure you'll get yours soon.

Oh it's released, but it's asking me to buy it. But according to the Egosoft forums it's a problem on Steam's end and it should be sorted out soon.

Yeah, it's definitely Steam. I still don't have it.

I'm not too worried, because I'm in no rush to play it, but I'd rather sort through any problems/dealing with support now than later when I actually want to play it. But I'll wait and see for now.

Awesome! I got the Superbox off of Gamersgate when they had their sale. Now I just need a joystick, haha. Playing the game with a keyboard and mouse is proving to be rather tiring.

I've been restarting my client about once every hour since it launched just in case (I'm almost always logged into Steam). But thanks for trying to help.
