It was a game produced between 1985 and 1992 I suppose, one of my first games ever. We played as a professor (redhaired, but I'm not sure about that) who was transferred in time, but there was something wrong with his machine.
I mean in time, not to the another world from the Another World.
In the game which was 30% platform and 70% logic we had to evolve through the ages. We start in prehistory. There were 3 holes in the ground and we had to cover them with the rocks. When we did that, the era change to the Ice Age - that's what I remember from the beginning of the game. You had to do something to get to the next era, etc. Also I remember there were monkeys (or australopithecines).
I think this game might be popular in early 90's but it has been totally forgotten now.
