How many of the people who are pining for Outcast have actually played it to the end? From everything I've read it starts out well, but soon degenerates into a nightmare of fetch quests.
If they are able to get Silver as part of the deal that'd be awesome. I have the game but it's a major pain trying to get it to run at all under XP. Would also love to see Slave Zero (same problem), Dead Man's Hand, and the Independence War series.

Good trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8o7JoMVPPeM
I see no reason why it wouldn't come.

I played outcast to the end. It was the best action/adventure game I had played at the time.
There was not really any sidequests that you wrre required to do that were fetch quests I dont think. It was a awesome game with a really great story. Still one of my all time favorites to this day. Its the only reason im even on this site lol.
Best news in this announcement for me is that Master of Orion is coming to GOG.com! Cannot wait!
I'm hoping for Nerf Arena Blast. I played the demo of that for like a month before I got bored. Then again, I was 11ish at the time, so that may have tainted my judgment.
THANK YOU GOG!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!....VERY VERY GLAD FOR INFOGRAMES TITLES especially OUTCAST & SILVER, ALONE IN THE DARK, PRISONER OF ICE....

My first post here might as well be one where I defend one of the best adventure games ever made and one of my favourite games of all time from wrongful assumptions like this one.
I've played Outcast all the way through to the end and it was brilliant from start to finish. There are a few fetch quests spread throughout the entire game, but it certainly doesn't do any such thing as degenerating into them towards the end.
congrats gog. :)
Great news, both Master of Orion and Master of Magic are great games.
I'm making a squeeeeeee noise right now.
I just wish I hadn't decided to finally play through Knights of the Old Republic I and II...because if the right Atari games hit GoG my summer will be ruined--I mean, ruined in a good way, but ruined all the same.
I hope this means Master of Orion I AND II :)

taczillabr: Welcome Atari! :)
"Outcast, Master of Orion and Master of Magic..." = yay!
And Outcast modded (by fans) to work up to 1980x1200... O.O imagine that.

And the link to this mod? Because i've never heard about it before.

I've played it to the end multiple times back in the day. Great from start to finish. And noone forces you to do everything if you don't like it, side quests are just that side quests.
