I'm hoping we see Moonbase Commander. That was a great game, and it deserves rescuing.

Microprose? *starry-eyed look*
I hope it'll include Worms II, Star Trek: Birth of the Federation and ST: A Final Unity. For starters, at least. :)
Also, isn't the Civ series with Atari these days?

Nah, 2K.

Delixe: Bioware really can't say no, the contract was signed long before the EA Acquisition so even if EA had a bee in their bonnet there is little they can do about it. It would be the same if 2K signed on and wanted to release Jade Empire.

Unless they signed over the rights as part of the deal.
Rather unlikely given Atari hold the D&D licence. Plus the game is available from various sites by the [url=http://nwn.bioware.com/about/purchase.html]Bioware site. So clearly Atari still have the licence to distribute it.

So does this mean Total Annihilation and Realms of the Haunting could be coming to GOG?

taczillabr: I think that BioWare (owned by EA) is needed here to offer some of these premium modules, but I may be wrong about this.

Well, I'm not the best person to talk about bioware, as I said "but I may be wrong about this".
Maybe atari has the rights to the base games and a few expansions... but what about the rights over the premium modules and remaining expansions, which cutterjohn was referring to?
I can't answer this, but like him I would like to have those modules well packaged here.
An old Microprose favorite of mine was Machiavelli (aka Merchant Prince)...sort of a Civ Lite with beautifully devious diplomacy between church and state. But it was DOS...could the effort be made to bring it up to newer Windows versions?
Ok wait, think about this, Bioware has a countdown timer to something on their site while GOG has just announced Atari as a partner, NWN and Baldurs Gate for the first wave of releases anyone?

Oh please, let this be true. I have been waiting for DRM-free Baldur's Gate forever.
Make that all the Infinity Engine games.

Hmm. Countdown ends on Monday though, and Atari stuff starts that Thursday.

@gog:
just to reiterate: make sure you test Outcast fully. and make sure you can get on the mounts! ;-)
Oh, and if you guys can reverse engineer the resolution patch, and up the resolution a bit more, that would be hunky dory!
I would love to see the Blood series come up very soon, especially Blood with Plasma Pack. I was always intrigued by their imagery and grit. It would be great if they also provided the Cryptic Passage episode for Blood.
I believe GOG should put out the first three Alone in the Dark games (along with Jack in the Dark); it was a ground breaking series for fans of survival horror games.
Master or Orion series? My older brother really liked that series. I might be curious enough to check it out myself.

I think I'm more excited for this then the activision stuff. How about a big countdown clock for outcast
I really hope that we will see Blood (+Plasma Pack) here at some point.
