Thanks a lot GOG! MoO, MoM and hopefully ToEE. But how on Earth shall I find time, to play all these games? Anyway, job well done, GOG! Best regards!
God I hope this means Discworld Noir. I <3 GOG.
Outcast? DO WANT
I have a retail box/dual CD copy already, but it's rather finicky with modern hardware. Not only that, but I can't seem to rip the second disc so that I don't have to keep it loaded all the time.
There's also the instances where the CD was loaded, but the redbook audio soundtrack wouldn't play. In Outcast's case, that is a grave sin-the orchestrated music really adds a majestic feel to the game.
If Atari also has Independence War 1 and 2, I'm even more sold. And IIRC on Accolade being bought out by Infogrames, who in turn was acquired by Atari, then that might mean that we could get Redline as well!
Holy crap! Awesome! Another big hitter!
Blood, WANT!!
Wow!! Thanks GOG!!!
I can only hope licensed games will be here (D&D, Star Trek, Mech Warrior, etc.)
Even if they never make it here, this is still freaking awesome!!
Thanks so much!!

sfasfesfta: I hope they can do something about Master Of Magics gfx,, its a great game I own the orignal and tried playing it on Dosbox recently, damn thing nearly destroyed my retinas :(

It looks a whole lot better with the hq filters. Preferably use openglhq output with a DOSBox version that supports it.

taczillabr: Welcome Atari! :)
"Outcast, Master of Orion and Master of Magic..." = yay!
And Outcast modded (by fans) to work up to 1980x1200... O.O imagine that.
I hope that they sell the NWN1 premium modules through gog.com as of this moment they are not available ANYWHERE other than the 1st 3 which can be had in the Diamond NWN1 release and, occasionally, through stores as an expansion module boxed package.
The remainder have been unavailable since last summer/fall,
Due to the problems Atari have with D&D based games at the moment I think we would be better off assuming we wont see the likes of NWN. Unless GOG releases one of them. If just one D&D based Atari game is announced then you can be sure the rest will all follow.
I blame Hasbro for this stupid situation. They seem to think that distributing D&D games based on old D&D systems will somehow harm their future sales. They don't seem to realize that most of us don't really care what rules a game is using.

Must have Master of Magic.
"OLD MAN"
Outcast? Hell Yeah! Definately my all time number one game.
2nd on the list would have to be the discworld trilogy. It'd be easy for GOG to add considering the first 2 are now supported by Scummvm
Hopefully licensing wont be too tricky (I'm pretty Terry pratchett would have to sign on, not just Atari)

wrong reply button? no problem.
I think that BioWare (owned by EA) is needed here to offer some of these premium modules, but I may be wrong about this.
I never bought any special edition of the NWN games, so, having all the expansions and modules on a GOG pack would be instabuy. But it wouldn't fit the $9.99 price here...

gandalf.nho: I like to see the old SSI AD&D games, never played one of them
avatar
trusteft: As far as I know, SSI rights belong to Ubisoft now.
Not Atari.

Thanks for the answer, I hoped Atari has all licenses of old D&D games.
Edit: From MIcroprose, I like to see Transport Tycoon Deluxe and some of the old combat flight simulators (like F-15 series and F117A)

Lafazar: If there was one game I would love to see on GOG it's Realms of the Haunting. Never again was there a game that combined the Genres of inventory-based adventure, first person shooter and interactive movie quite like that.
A very unique game with a very good story, and since gremlin was a part of Infogrames which now calls itself Atari, this is becoming a real possibility.

Ah, I heard about this game, but have never seen or played it. Sounds intriguing! Let's hope they get it.
Oh, and thanks GOG!

Bioware really can't say no, the contract was signed long before the EA Acquisition so even if EA had a bee in their bonnet there is little they can do about it. It would be the same if 2K signed on and wanted to release Jade Empire.
