Does anyone have a link to the auctions calendar Atari has planned for July? I saw it in a thread a while ago. Can't find a recent article on Google.

Thanks for any info!

Here's the original press release, no idea what's transpired since:

In my drug induced haze last night I thought Good Game were talking about Atari Games but I guess not. This is what they said apparently:

Amiga games and 300 titles snapped up

Amiga Games Incorporated and the rights to over three hundred of its games, have been bought for approximately half a million dollars. The Los Angeles based distribution company “The Writers’ Group Film Corp” made the purchase and now plans on re-releasing many of the games shortly for mobile devices, PC and Consoles. No specifics were available on which games the group had purchased, however titles in the Amiga library include classics such as Lemmings, Wing Commander and Syndicate.

But that has no relevance to this thread. But I thought it did... guess not... sorry...
Whooo, I wonder who got Rollercoaster Tycoon. EDIT: And who will get Humongous, of course. :P

Stardock provided an inside look at the auction process. It looks like they got one of the brands they were going for, and they expect announcements about the auction results will be made next week.
If I remember correctly, they were planning to hold the auctions on July 24th.
Who owns rights to Alone in the Dark?
Awesome news! Either MoO or TA, maybe even Star Control, should be right at home with Stardock!

It wasn't just one date.http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/05/29/idUSnHUGd6MV+73+ONE20130529
So for a minimum bid of $200k, someone could make a Master of Star Control crossover, with the 4X of Orion and the combat of Star Control.

God damn I wish I was rich.

Star Control = Stardock
MoO & TA = wargaming.net

(NB: haven't seen them officially confirmed)

Ugh, I sincerely hope they've not got their hands on Star Control. I bet they'd make it Steam only.

Source? I know you've not seen them confirmed but you must have some reason to suspect what you do...

ex Qt3.

http://i.imgur.com/n5OnEe8.png for the list of games auctioned and back up bids. It is unconfirmed, but if anybody would know if it's a wind up it would be the people on Qt3, so very likely genuine.
