In this weekend promo we decided to gather a group of [url=http://www.gog.com/en/promo/assorted_games]assorted classics where everyone can find something for their taste. Until Monday, February 28 at 11:59 p.m. EDT the loot seekers can grab Arx Fatalis for $3.59, blood thirsty fans of carnage will probably go for POSTAL: Classic and Uncut for $3.59 and POSTAL 2 Complete for $5.99, while armchair generals will pick either the medieval themed for $3.59 and [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/stronghold_crusader]Stronghold Crusader for $5.99 or the brain-twisting The Incredible Machine Mega Pack for $5.99. You have to agree there's a whole lot of diversity in this offer. The promo is not a bundle one, so you'll receive the 40% discount if you buy one, two or all the games from the offer.
Awsome! Postal series has been on my wishlist for awhile. A shopping I will go.

Interesting mix. I don't actually have any of these!
Hmmm, I think I already have all the ones that I would be interested in. The flat discount is again appreciated though.
already got everything that I wanted during the christmas promo

so I think I'll pass this weekend, oh well, more time for psychonauts that I got this wednsday :)
I have everything but the two Postal games from this promo, and I have no intention of getting those anyway.
Nice promo, BTW, and I hope others will appreciate the 40% flat discount and not whine "Why only 40%???".
Damn, another VERY dangerous promo for my savings. Wonder if I will resist it.
I would immediately benefit from this promo to buy Arx Fatalis, if I was sure it will someday be upgraded to compatibility with Windows 7.
Could someone from the GoG team give a clear answer to this question, please?

Meanwhile I'll most likely buy Stronghold Crusader...

OK, someone help me out here with Stronghold and Stronghold: Crusader. Are there reasons to prefer one over the other?

According to latest Bethesda blog post, latest 1.21 version fixes a lot of stability issues of the game working under Win7/Vista. It seems GOGed Arx Fatalis is updated to version 1.21.

I have a physical copy of Arx Fatalis and it works fine under Win7.
So finally I can by Arx Fatalis...
Okay, so now, I guess I definitely have no excuse to not buy Arx fatalis, given the new patch released... ^_^

Thanks, this is great news. I own Arx Fatalis since the year of its release, and back then I have played it with no problem. But much later, after a few updates and upgrades in my previous computer, I have never been able to run this game again, even with Windows XP (I have spent in vain HOURS trying to fix the problem. Even ordered a second hard copy...).

Now I guess the frustration comes to its end :))
I'll try my hard copy with the patch, first, and see if it's worth investing in the DRM-free version...

I can definitely recommend anyone to check out Arx Fatalis, especially now that all the serious issues seem to have been removed by the latest patch (I didn't have any problems since, running it on Vista - works great for me).
