What Asian themed PC games do you feel could or should be added to GOG's catalog? I was really hoping for Jade Empire, only to have it added weeks after I first wish-listed it. Some other titles that I wouldn't mind checking out would be Throne of Darkness, and perhaps the Prince of Qin. I haven't really played either of those though, but I did have working discs at one time (just not long enough to get into them).

I know it's not the biggest category of games, nor the most sought after, but what's a few other Asian themed PC games, newer or older, that could end up here? They can be from any genre of gaming.

Some others I know of:

Dragon Throne: Battle of Red Cliffs
Fate of the Dragon
Seal of Evil
Shogun Total War

I know a lot of these aren't the most highly rated games, but I'd still purchase them if they came here to add flavor to my collection, and to give them a chance. From some YouTube video's it's just a matter of some being copies of other similar games, such as Throne of Darkness being a Diablo II clone. Maybe some others are a little buggy or choppy. But with a good community here it would work out fine and patches could happen.

I take it that mean's the difficulty is punishing?

Really flippin' hard. I think my party managed to beat up some peasants, once. Barely.

That sounds pretty hard!

Looking it up I notice it's on Commodore 64. WOW! That would definitely be a classic!
Prince of Qin is an interesting game. It is far from the best game ever (translation is rather poor, it has pacing issues and it does get repetitive after a while), but I like the premise & setting.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms series is also nice. Not all were released on PC, and not all of those released on PC were translated to English.

Qasir Al-Wasat: A Night in-Between is a nice indie title, combining an interesting setting, nice gameplay and a beautiful art style.
Sword of the Samurai maybe? KOEI made a bunch of historical strategy games like Romance of the Three Kingdoms but we're unlikely to see them here.

There's always the classic Karateka if that counts. :)

Some of the turn-based games by KOEI,
Romance of the Three Kingdoms series
Genghis Khan 1 and 2 (If you thought Paradox is the first to handle families and family members in Crusader Kings, you're somewhat wrong :) )
Bandit Kings of Ancient China
Another one I missed was Blade & Sword. I have the CD from over ten years ago, but no computer it works in, that and the ratings for it are quite low...but I'd give it a shot on my Windows 8 machine
Sword of the Samurai and Shogun: Total War are the best in my book.
A few months before I joined here I bought "Throne of Darkness" which really bored the piss out of me but I sometimes wonder if I didn't give it a fair shake. It's basically Diablo in Japan and instead of one you have a team of four. It was that which confused me because I could never figure out who was doing what or why.

Anyone ever play it? Your thoughts?

Oh, I see Jinsei mentioned it in his OP. Well the question and my observation still stand.

I would have to say Bandit Kings of Ancient China.

The pc version is pretty good, but I was super impressed by the Amiga version.

I spent many hours playing that gem of a game.
