CrashToOverride: Whats drawn up in the lawsuit is that Activision continued to pressure IW for more titles after MW2 released instead of the agreed to new IP. So Activision fired both Vince and Jason so they could keep the MW titles rolling in by eliminating the two men to whom it gave final authority over those brands, and removing any road blocks they could throw up.

Makes a hell of a lot of sense, particularly given Activision is now planning a load of CoD titles over the next few years.
I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to Activision, but the language of their lawsuit contrasted with W&Z's is pretty overwhelming.

Anything to keep the money train rolling in, regardless of quality (Which I have a prediction the whole Brand will go to shit now)

The brand went to shit since I played the first game, that's just me though.
This whole deal will likely end up being one of those stories that will never be honestly spread to the masses until it's all over a decade ago. Only then we will likely know the truth, speculation won't do no good other than keep the rumors flying but rumors can be fun so.........
More IW employees leaving the sinking ship. Link
At this rate IW will be closed by the end of the month.

WOW there wont be anyone left by the end of the month. Bet EA/Respawn are offering some mighty good signing incentives.

Activision doesn't give a damn, in their eyes, they have Treyarch, so they can keep pumping out COD titles, especially with World at War being as popular as it was.
To be honest, I've ONLY played gamed made by Infinity Ward, I've never played a Treyarch COD title, but I always assumed it wouldn't be of the same quality as an IW game.

They are the same quality just vastly different games and feel. I honestly think Treyarch makes better COD games. It's just a feel with the WW2 era weapons people don't like.

Watch IW and Treyarch magically merge using Activision's magicks.

I see that happening. It wouldn't be the first studio Treyarch swallowed after all. But if they did, I think they'll be taking the IW name for obvious reasons.

Or be like Square-Enix (Squeenix) And be Treyarch-Infinity Ward. Or..."Treynity Ward" xD

CrashToOverride: Treynity Ward

Sounds like a hospital drama series. :P
