TVs_Frank: Eh, I'll enter because I need motivation to do any artwork lately, but realize you're probably asking for a bit much if you expect any sort of real quality.
Anything >>> bland text. Not looking for Michelangelo's.. hehe.

Plus, you get the chance to help out another giveaway game, I think that's something a lot of people want to promote.

(I'd personally end the contest before the Staycation event is over so the winners have a chance to get more bang for their buck)
We'll see.

Incidentally, prefer Might and Magic style graphics homages, or more towards the concept art spectrum?
Whatever direction you feel like.
Here are my two entries. Both a logo and a map. I'm not sure if the map is similar to what you wanted, but here it is.

If needed, I can provide a higher quality map. I had to compress it a bit to get it to upload here.

If I have time, I might try out trying my hand at drawing the store. Would be quite a challenge!

Very cool, thank you.

The map is fine the way it is!

Also, looking for some "inside" maps with tighter quarters like dungeons and whatnot, so if anyone wants to try their hand there that would be good too!

Thanks everyone. It's looking like we're starting to get a few, so hopefully around the beginning of July, I'll announce the winners.

Still plenty of time to add, if anyone else is interested!
I'm pretty decent at drawing, specially if it's characters posing. I also have time constraints since I'm very busy at work, but will try my hand at stuff like the warrior and such when I get home.

Here's a link to a sketch I made of Psylocke, the Marvel character.

Are you looking for something specific? Like time period or whatnot or just whatever pops into my head as a warrior?

It's a fantasy game, so whatever kind of Warrior you would envision in a Baldur's Gate/Dragon Age/Gauntlet/etc. type of RPG game is fine!!

I don't think I'll have the time to do every single character, so now I'm wondering, is it a $9.99 game per character (if you pick it as a winner) or for the whole batch?

Do you accept black and white a la the sketch I did for psylocke? I'm much faster at drawing than at coloring. More fun for me too to do just the pencil work.

You can do as few or as many as you wish. The more of them that get chosen for the blog, the more raffle tickets you gain for that contest. In theory that means, that there's a maximum total of 12 tickets for category 2 since there's 12 different options.

So in category 2, there's 12 characters. I highly doubt that there will be a submission for each, but let's say person A does 3 characters and each of them get chosen. Person B does 1 different character and it gets chosen. Person C does the 8 remaining characters, and each of them get chosen.

That would mean, person A would have a 3/12 chance to win category 2, person B would have a 1/12 chance, and person C would have an 8/12 chance.

Obviously I realize that a chance for a 9.99 game isn't the best thing in the world compared to the great effort some of you are putting in, but I'm hoping you all will have some mercy on me and my budget, so I'm able to continue running the RPG giveaway game! Think of it as a chance to win a game plus support more chances for others to win!

Hope that makes sense...

(Black and White is fine, sure!)

That works for me. I can't do the whole batch but the more I do, the better my chances. I'm likely to do around four or five.

Given the way things are going so far, we only have a few entries, so doing 4 or 5 will give you a good chance. (If less than 12 get chosen, there will be less than 12 tickets)

I'll do some of the ones that haven't been done, just so you can have at least one of each. No need repeating someone else's work.

Cool, thanks
Are you looking for only American-styled art, or is an anime-style alright, since I can do originals in that style but not American style.
