The edited video comes from a comedy show called TVR, that's why you get laughter & snips from Monkey island in between the actual news broadcast.

So it wasn't even a prank organised by TVR?

As I said, this was actually televised as a serious investigation. Too late did they realised that they've been trolled, and that was way after the report was shown on prime time!
TVR's report, the one you've seen on that youtube video, was this last Saturday while the actual C5N broadcast was on Wednesday, IIRC.
My country's getting too much attention these days! We better start sinking back to the shadows quickly and let some other latin american country get the spotlight! :-P

Oh yeah I didn.t think it was something TVR faked, I just thought they might have been behind the initial trolling. It just reminds me of the kind of stuff that a comedy team here called The Chaser would do, they tended to set up insane stunts and see how far they got with them
