No, I'm not excited at all but will give it a try. Combat Evolved and Reach were both good. I didn't like 2 or ODST and don't remember playing 3. I think I did but don't remember much.

bansama: I'm not exited for Halo 4 no. But then, I don't own an Xbox.

I did enjoy Halo 1 on the PC (up until a certain point in the story where it just started feeling rather silly). Some of the early levels were actually rather fun.

I'd have probably played Halo 2 as well, had it ever been readily available on the PC. I found one copy of it a few days ago (first I'd ever seen here), but the store still wanted over $80 for it even with it's damaged packaging. I doubt they'll ever sell it.
You can get it for a tenner in Europe.

I don't know if there is any "magic delivery tunnel" available to you, but that price indicated that this game isn't hard to get.

2's ending was crap and ODST was OK.
So... anyone pre-ordered?

Fallen_Zen: Well the PC version was never really that good as the Xbox original.
Still, a console shooter with aimed at 7 year old kids with autoaim enabled is not a good thing.

Don't recall auto-aim on Xbox version, and why do you state it's for 7 years old kids? Because you don't like it, it doesn't mean it's for kids.

I liked the game back when it was released and it was fun, especially with the fantastic story! This was my first Xbox 1 game.

Come on, one little, two little, three little, cute aliens, four little, five little... :D

To me the game has no seriousness in itself at all, neither with the story, nor the aestetics.

Well it's all a matter of taste ;) Elites, Brutes & Flood aren't that sweet ;)

jamyskis: Don't think I've played a Halo game since the first one on the PC. Never really got my juices flowing.

I was going to point this out but didn't want to start a war...

Yeah the story was great and the gameplay was fun. Maybe kavaz should be talking about the newer CODS. Don't mean to spark a war if it happens.

Halo 3 for the XBox 360 had neither "auto aim" nor "auto lock" like CoD 4, so I'm guessing Halo also had none. And some of my most favourite shooters had autoaim! I still remember how alien that mouse felt when I had to glue down the friggin mouselook button on Quake...

The story had potential, but in the end, the gameplay and the horrible, horrible later level design killed it for me. If they would do a "directors cut" with only the outside levels, I might just buy it again.

But Halo 2 was just horrible in every aspect.

Music was okay.

Roman5: Anyway, to answer OP's question: No, I understand that some people might get a kick out of it but Halo never did anything for me personally
This.

I never have and probably never will like the Halo series. The first one was so-so but the second and up all were just a waste of time (Note: I didn't buy any of the later in the series, only the first, but I played them at my friend's house).
