Thespian*: ... maybe a goatee? :D
avatar
Grargar: Hmm...
If he was bald, he would look like Ming the Merciless.
Now that my evil plot has succeeded (getting someone to post the required goatee pic whilst this lazy Vulcan relax himself :D), let me congratulate you on your third shuriken. ;)

theslitherydeee: I hate how they always make your character look ugly if you act evil. If anything it should be the other way around, you're more likely to get your face mashed up by running to everyone's rescue and to look awesome by stealing all their money and going to a spa.

Thespian*: I think that topic comes from the Ancient Greeks. They thought the body was the reflection of the soul, so a wretched body or face pointed to an evil soul (or at least to a severe punishment from the gods). It was one of the reasons the newborns were searched for deformities and killed on a direct or indirect way if so. Though this practice hasn't survived, the idea remains in our time... and it's an useful resource when an author want his/her audience to know who is the evil guy since the beginning. ;)
It also comes from the fact that most evil people are full of hate and anger 24/7. And hate and anger, does change your face...
It makes you look more bad ass. Bu hate and anger doesn't make you permanently ugly. That is silly.

I'll join In

Truthfully, I love playing both sides(I prefer Neutrality when its offered) like in the D&D games, but Yes. I usually do a full evil playthrough first. My Favorite game to commit acts of the darkest evil in would probably be Fable(As I can't find any good D&D games that will let me play the villain). Now if you don't mind Sirrah, I am gonna go back to slaughtering the innocents and plotting the demise of the world.

Edit: I forgot to mention that most games. I play the Bad Guy just because 1) I get more loot, and 2) Its so much more fun. I hate being a goody two shoes shoddy gear. I mean, If I'm supposed to be some legendary hero, shouldn't the "innocents" help a brother out? May the Dark Goddess reap their pathetic souls through my slashing blade and falling spells.....

....or the scope of my Anti-material Rifle.

mmm, is there a rule which states "You can enter only for yourself"?
I don't give a shit about rules and will enter for Momo nevertheless. Why? Because I AM EVIL! BWAHAHAHAH

Yeah, why be the hero for a bunch of assholes who don't even lift 1 finger to help you save the world. Fuck em.

Hello dr.schliemann. Unfortunately, there is such a rule:

"3) You can enter only for yourself and you must also redeem the game for yourself. "

They don't ACTUALLY gotta help. I'm pretty adept at saving the world on my own(I was the Hero once). But that blacksmith that I just saved from some big bad monster(like a Dragon) could give me that legendary sword he's selling for way too much damn gold. Or at least give me some kind of prize....like that shiny plate armor.
Congratulations Grargar on receiving Shuriken #3 :D
Am I evil? Yes I am! I love to play evil, though usually my first walkthrough of any game is with a good character, if I love the game, I usually like to do an evil play through also. My most notable experience was in Kotor where being evil was just as rewarding as being good. Thanks and I'm in.

I was only joking: I am not evil after all. :-)
Not in for the giveaway.

Thank you Grargar for your generosity: you deserve your third star and many more.

Thespian*: I always choose the "good guy" path in my games, I promise myself I'll pick the evil, dark, mischievous way in a second playthrough, but I often notice I lack something when that happens...
That's my way too: but the thing I usually lack for my second playthrough is TIME. :-)
I'm in, thanks.

I usually play a good guy. If I do something bad in a game, it's usually a spur of the moment thing rather than a clear effort at playing an evil character. For instance, those damn beggar women and the violent simpletons that are always blocking your way in Assassins Creed - I don't mind roughing up or even knifing those losers if they push me too far. The old GTA games were also pretty good about this, since in those games the pedestrians would basically cuss you out simply for being in the general vicinity, which was always a good excuse to stop whatever you were planning on doing and go on a killing spree. I also never miss a chance in Vice City to run over cyclists.

Basically, don't get in andysheets1975's way and don't ride a bicycle around him. :P

Oh boy, those were damn annoying. Especially, when you they came in groups, bothered you while you were in a sneaking mission and even daring to toss stones on you while you were climbing.
