Hi,

I'm kinda looking for a game that's like the classic board game HeroQuest. Are there any titles on here that are like this classic game? Maybe a good DnD title?

Thanks
The D&D game that probably comes closest to it would be Temple of Elemental Evil, I guess (on account of being both a dungeon crawl and turn-based).

Thank you. :)
None of the D&D titles are like HeroQuest though. A DOS game exists that is based on that boardgame, but it has not been re-released on a digital platform.

That being said, the old infinity engine D&D games (Planescape, Icewind dale & Baldur's Gate) are all very good, as is Temple of Elemental Evil (this one is very challenging though). Closest to HeroQuest is probably Icewind Dale & Temple of Elemental Evil, though they are still quite far from that boardgame.

I don't know about similar, but have you seen this one?

If you don't mind not being on GOG, there are these:

Thanks,

I think I recently tried this version and noticed some of the features didn't work. Disarm Trap was one of them. Has this version been updated lately?

I don't really know, I played it just a little bit years ago. Just give their website a good read or try it again. :)

I will take a look a little later. :)
The Hero Quest board game was a cut down version of Hero Quest Advanced by Games Workshop and now I've said GW I'm thinking Bloodbowl and Dungeon Bowl which... aren't on GOG but other DD stores do carry them...
My game, Kilgazar, is inspired by HeroQuest, but it's not on GOG.

Other way round! Advanced Hero Quest actually came out later, and was supposed to be a revised and expanded version of Hero Quest...

The Spiderweb games are probably the most similar that I can think of.

Edit: They have a lot more story, but the turn-based-ness is much more similar to HeroQuest than anything else I've seen.

There are absolutely none and you can blame Bethesda for that. ;-)
On a somewhat related note, RockPaperShotgun published a retrospective article on HeroQuest today.
