Ah, no functionality to batch-track one's games for updates :(
Trust me, the available track system is far from practical when you have more than just a handful of games. And it's even less practical given one can't check for updates specifically.
The GOG flagging-updates system, though it could be improved, is still more than what Desura offers.
I think that most devs announce updates, but that requires one to visit each game's page - not particularly practical either.
I wish the game library on Desura (without the client) had more functionality. As it is, it's a long list of one's games, sorted by title and without any options to rearrange the list/ view. Maybe it's a concious design choice to get more people to use the client?
Do all silent updates on GOG get a mention in the game's forum? I've not been checking those forums regularly, so sorry if this is a lame question.
