Live feed of the Venus eclipse. Should take a few hours to "cross" the sun..
Actually, it will take more than a six hours.

In Europe it will be visible only early in the morning. For early birds who want to see it with their own eyes, and don't have another century to spare. :)
I was just about to start a thread about this.
I was hoping to watch this outdoors at sunrise, but it looks like it might be cloudy :(
At first I thought it was strange that there was so little mention of this on GOG, but maybe that's because all the American GOGers are outside viewing it :)
Anybody have equipment for viewing the sun?

Also I found the thread title a bit obscure, so I was just guessing that this might be about Venus.

I was lucky enough during the eclipse to have few clouds and tons of pollution so I could get some good photos, but we have enough clouds today to prevent me from seeing anything.

But, it looks like it's getting bright outside so I really should check.
It's almost over, for anyone who still wants to get a glimpse.

I was out but it was too cloudy, if I was better prepared I could have gotten up earlier and driven to another town, but it would have been a long shot.
I enjoyed the NASA stream though.

Did you get a good view in Denmark?
The pics I got were rather crappy, I had to take them through welding glass because I can't order things as easily as I could back home.

But for the last time in a lifetime opportunity with the clouds, I was happy enough just for the memory.

I don't have a century to spare, yet a thick cloud cover and heavy rain means there is nothing to see here.

TBH, unless you have an extremely long lens or a telescope with the appropriate filter, you're not going to see anything. Venus is pretty tiny, I tried looking with just the welder's mask for a spell and i couldn't see anything.

It's a tad anticlimactic of an event as it's not anywhere near as flashy as the much more common solar eclipse or even lunar eclipse.

The view was fine, but I don't own a filter, so I couldn't see anything with my own eyes. I too watched the NASA stream when I got up this morning, though.
