DProject: Really? Well, I guess it's universal...
blood, guts and gore = A OK!
boobs, butts and whores = MY GOD WHAT A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY!

It's a bit sad.
Let me change my statement then:
Nudity and sex for the sake of nudity and sex = no.
Gore for the sake of gore = no.
Nudity and sex for the sake of a good story (can't think of any good example at the moment) = yes, please! Also, sex and nudity for fun, as in Larry series - yes, if done right.
Gore for the sake of a good story (The Cat Lady, Sanitarium) = yes, please! Gore for over the top dark humour (like in Blood or Postal 2) is OK too.
Sure, I'd buy AO games on GOG. Bring on the T&A.
Sure, I'd definitely buy AOE1-3 and AOM here.

But seriously, I've never really understood the point of pr0n games. Won't it just make it all harder if you have to control two joysticks at the same time?

Nah, pr0n is only for watching, and for that there are free sites like ***tube and tube*.

EDIT: I haven't played "Seduce Me", so I can't tell if it is great as a game. But I am unsure why I'd want to be aroused by a game, or is there some other reason to play an adult game? I don't necessarily mind if a game has some adult content, but I presume this was about it being the whole point of the game.

Mobygames isn't even listing Seduce Me, apparently.

I googled for "Seduce Me", and in the IGN review I saw a link under "Games You May Like":

Battle Raper II

This sequel features the ability to dress up your fighter, as well as six playable characters (five female, one male) fighters.
LOL! I presume it is a Japanese game, only they could have that crazy game titles.

Here, enjoy.

Porn games? No. Games that have sexual content are fine with me though, so long as it's not the focus of the game. Like some visual novels I've played(Utawareumono, Tsukikage).

kalirion: Knights of Xentar might be fun to play through, but not for more than $1.
Way back I actually found it quite fun. It probably was my first JRPG. Imagine that. I did play the censored (naughty bits covered with cloth) German version when there still was a semi-regular 'magazine' that came with slightly older games for cheap on CD with every issue - got Indy 3&4, M&M 3-5, and a bunch of others that way. Totally forgot what it was called though. Yup, that was a good while before the internet became a big thing.

KneeTheCap: Now, I am not certain if there's a thread for this, but at least the search function didn't find any.

Anyway, AO* games. Would you buy them if they were sold in GOG ? What if they'd have their own section? I'm sure there would be some legal issues concerning some countries (hypocrite bastards, all of them), but let's ignore that for a moment.

I would buy them, I'd even be a regular in that section, that's for sure. There are lots and lots of games where you can disembowel people, so why not allow these too?

Do share your thoughts.

*Adult Only (games with sexual content, at least. I dunno if extreme violence games fit in that category too)
Depends on the game obviously. I hardly know any games of this type. What I can say is that i really liked "Lula, the sexy empire" and I would definitely buy that. If others games were as good then sure I'd buy them, why not?

This totally, in my humble opinion I don't see the point on playing a game solely focused on sex and nudity, and flirting and what not, I'd would honestly try it, I think I joined for a giveaway for Seduce Me not long ago, just to see how the game plays.

But apart from that I totally miss the point of a game like that.

Final opinion? I wouldn't want this kind of games here.

How about if they had their own sub-site within GOG?

That would be the best way to go, so the games are not featured as regular ones, for the sake of those younger ones that frequent this site, I would say yes to that if properly implemented withing GOG.
There's already 18+/AO games on GOG (Witcher 1&2 among others) so I don't see the problem (most AO rated games in america are rated for teens in europe anyway) and sure, I'd buy them if I liked them and price is right like with every other game. As for actualy porn games, that's minefield that GOG should definately avoid.

I wonder if it ever become, uhm, cleared of those mines? Look at DVD vendors and places where you can buy digital movies? Many of them have a sub-site for erotic movies.

What's the difference?
Someone got me some erotic VN download codes as a joke gift. To actually get to the games, I had to receive the keys in an email, follow a link to another redemption site, put the code in, confirm if I wanted to use one of the five activations the code gave me, download an unpatched version, download a patch (also with its own five activations), install the game, and then go back and enter the codes again to launch the games.

So, yeah, I'd be down with a DRM-free release, honestly.
I am all for it.
