Yea, the first few were interesting. The Army Men RTS was decent enough, but I lost interest in it part way through. Im not sure if they would count as great games, but I really liked the Army Men: Air Attack games also. The rest were just wasted opportunity. I like the idea of them being action games. I didn't think making them into a Saturday morning cartoon for kinder-gardeners was a good idea though. They needed to play up the fact that these are generic toys. Don't give me characters, and weird alternate dimensions. Just give me plastic, and let me melt it, break it, and blow it up.

Talking about Army Men always makes me think of Airfix Dogfighter. Now there is a game that did toy combat the right way!
Anybody have any idea who has the rights to the franchise? I think it was global Star Software when they released that god awful soldiers of misfortune game, I bet CD Projekt could make a deal with whoever does pretty cheap to distribute them on GoG.

According to Wikipedia the license went from 3DO to Global Star Software, now named 2K Play, Currently a part of Take-Two Interactive
